It’s funny how some bands just seem to get put on the back burner for much too long. Then again, it’s not like The Replacements are in the “public Rockin’ eye” anymore… and that’s unfortunate but reality.

From listening to the Goo Goo Dolls for so long, I cannot help but hear through their music, that this band comes from the same mold of musicians and songwriters such as Tom Petty and the others I mentioned. It’s not so much a “sound” comparison as it is a “feel” and songwriting one.
