		<description><![CDATA[Manny, I have not listened to The Replacements in years... now I&#039;m gonna dig up some of their stuff! It&#039;s funny how some bands just seem to get put on the back burner for much too long. Then again, it&#039;s not like The Replacements are in the &quot;public Rockin&#039; eye&quot; anymore... and that&#039;s unfortunate but reality.

From listening to the Goo Goo Dolls for so long, I cannot help but hear through their music, that this band comes from the same mold of musicians and songwriters such as Tom Petty and the others I mentioned. It&#039;s not so much a &quot;sound&quot; comparison as it is a &quot;feel&quot; and songwriting one.
