I grew up in the 80′s metal hey day. I thought I knew every metal band that came out at that time. I am embarrassed to say I am/was not familiar with MASS until I read the post and watched the video. Now that I’ve caught up with their body of work through ITunes, I have to say that their latest cd “sea of black” is AWESOME!!!!

If I had known about this cd last year it would have been my top pick. So I will have to make it my top pick for this year! When I listen to it whether it’s in the car or in my iPod I can’t help but turn up the volume a bit more when “the right side” begins, and then a full crank when “Thru the Rain” and “coming home” play. Boy am I glad this post was done because I would have missed an Incredible album.

Thanks Louis, it would be great to see you again except the club I saw you guys at, Blondies in West Atlantic City closed down a few months after you played there. The other problem is I live in the UK now. Any chance of you guys coming over here? I could put you on the Wishlist on the Bloodstock website. Bloodstock is a big annual metal festival in the UK. It would be great to see Mass play there.

That brings back loads of great memories. I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I saw them in a small club in New Jersey in February 1986. After the gig, they all came over and shook the hands of my friends and me. Great memories.
