The situation seems to be getting worse by the hour as well. Absolutely one of the worst storm events to hit the U.S. ever.

We have family and friends up in Connecticut and power is still out in many locations… especially the shoreline.

Thank you Kev for bringing attention to your friend Jerry Gaskill. I had no idea about the terrible situations he and his wife have encountered. I’ll keep them in my prayers and spread the word in the coming days.

I’m going to “attempt” to visit the big mall this weekend (depending on power being restored in that area) and I’ll surely buy some Kings X… I admittedly have too many holes to fill when it comes to their catalog of albums.

Yeah, we were very, very fortunate to have not lost our power for the duration that our neighbors (just across the street) have. Hundreds of our neighbors are still without power!

So many huge trees were uprooted around here, bringing down power lines. Our public schools (in my district) have just re-opened today.

I hope these charities are able to provide what is necessary for the people that are in need… it’s so mind numbing to see the news footage of New Jersey and Staten Island… etc.

As someone’s walked those streets, and visited and gigged in The Big Apple, my heart goes out to those struggling in the aftermath that the bitch Sandy left in her treacherous wake. I’ve still yet to hear from our friends up in Connecticut – I’m assuming their power’s still down. And i want to give a ‘head’s up’ to KING’S X drummer Jerry Gaskill and his wife who’ve lost their NJ home and all their possessions. Jerry also had to contend with a heart attack in February. This year really sucks for him. Buy their albums people! They rock! Friends and family have also launched a campaign to help them rebuild from this second tragedy to blight their lives:
