For real they did! I remember once, while interviewing David Sanchez (vocalist/guitarist/founder) of the (fabulous) Thrash Metal band HAVOK… he openly admitted to Boston “inspiring” and having “influence” on certain Thrash songs he’s written!

Yes Kev!! That ‘Omerta’ album seems to sound better after each listen! I am so psyched-out that you dig this album and enjoy knowing how ‘Come Undone’ surprised you in such a grand way!

I understand your appreciation for Adrenaline Mob’s cover of ‘Come Undone’… that cover never fails to give me ostrich bumps on my entire face and arms, whoa!

Lzzy Hale from Halestorm is on backing vocals on ‘Come Undone’ and she gave this song a 100% emotional boost! IMO. \m/

On “The Covering” Stryper didn’t cover Boston. However, Michael Sweet was once carrying out guitar and lead vocal duties for Boston! So the ‘Stryper-Boston Connection’ will always be in the Rock History books! \m/

On the subject of covers – I just started listening to the superb ‘Omerta’ by Adrenaline Mob – fantastic album! -and then suddenly there’s this AWESOME cover of Duran Duran’s ‘Come Undone’ – an inspired idea! Nearly drove off the highway in surprise! \m/

Boston is sort of odd to cover, but I would enjoy hearing it. Didn’t Stryper do a cover of a Boston song on their covers CD? I might be wrong about that.

Wow…that’s a covers set I wanna hear! Reminds me of when UK rockers SKIN had a limited edition of their debut album, featuring an extra CD of covers -some of them downright off-the-wall, but which worked brilliantly – from Pump it Up by Elvis Costello to Respect Yourself by Madonna (!) they just ripped them up and made them rock!
