Yes, a “Metal toast” is in fine and required order to the late Clive Burr! It’s so sad Clive had to be stricken with Multiple Sclerosis. From all the articles I’ve read, Clive kept his spirits held high regardless of his condition. A true inspiration for us all.

Those first 3 Iron Maiden studio albums that Clive Burr played on are so incredibly timeless and groundbreaking Kev!

It’s a crime that Clive Burr and Iron Maiden are not inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Talk about Metal “influence” among countless musicians and bands, not to mention “one-of-a-kind”… my God!!

There will also be a VERY limited Witch Cross ale to commemorate the new album Stone, going by the name of ‘Grinder’! – with a label featuring the album artwork! I’ll have to try and get some over to you somehow! In the meantime, 80′s metalmans idea of raising a glass of Maiden’s own brew to Clive’s memory sounds like a damn fine idea. \m/

That Iron Maiden brew looks like grand stuff to me! I just saw it yesterday for the first time on the Iron Maiden website, when I (unfortunately) was reading the press release about Clive Burr’s passing.

I wonder if that Iron Maiden brew will be available in the U.S.? Man, I sure hope so! Let everyone know how that brew tastes! \m/
