Feb. 12, 2013, San Francisco – Mike Patton, in a rare and comprehensive interview, is on the March cover of Decibel Magazine.
“I first saw Faith No More in 1992, when the band came to my podunk hometown on the Angel Dust tour, with Helmet opening in support of Meantime.” says Decibel Editor-in-Chief Albert Mudrian. “It seems sort of fitting that we’d catch up with Mike Patton as he releases a new Tomahawk record that features former Helmet drummer John Stanier as well.”
The seven-page article, written by J. Bennett, spans the San Francisco-based musician’s history from his Eureka, Calif. roots with Mr. Bungle, on to his work with Faith No More and his move toward independence with his own Ipecac Recordings and his eclectic incarnations via Fantômas, Mondo Cane and Tomahawk amongst others.
