JON LORD – Rest In Peace
JON LORD – The legendary Jon Lord passed away, at age 71, on Monday, July 16th, 2012. A musician, songwriter and best known as the founder and keyboardist of the also legendary Deep Purple; the Rock Music world has benefited immensely from his contributions. Jon Lord has left us all with an unbelievable Rock ‘N Roll legacy. Metal Odyssey expresses condolences to the family, friends, bandmates and fans of Jon Lord.

This is one of the big ones. A colossus of the rock world. So sad to hear of his passing. As I’ve written elsewhere on the net, he was a huge part of the soundtrack to my life, and it’s hard to believe he’s gone.
