Echa Krwi available to pre-order via Pagan Records
Polish black metallers Azels Mountain have released a new video, created by Zaćma Visual Studio, ahead of the release of their third full-length album, Echa Krwi, scheduled to arrive on 26th June via Pagan Records.
On this new album, Azels Mountain continues its descent into darker and more reflective territories, channelling themes of memory, blood, sacrifice and transcendence through a colder, more expansive musical expression shaped by both mystic reflection and the lingering shadows of more recent historical experience.
Compared to previous releases, Echa Krwi is a more mature and culturally rooted vision. Beyond the foundations of underground black metal, the album draws inspiration from classical Polish music, literature and the spiritual atmosphere woven through the nation’s artistic heritage.
Echoes of melancholy, longing, pride, and existential struggle permeate the compositions, giving the record a distinctly Polish character. The result is an album that channels the spirit of forgotten landscapes, ancestral memory, and the restless soul embedded within Polish culture itself, transforming Echa Krwi into something both deeply personal and timeless.
Sirkis completed the artwork for the new album, while Zaćma Visual Studio handled photography. Renowned designer Christophe Szpajdel crafted the band’s refreshed logo. On the production front, the material was recorded at M23 Studio, with mixing and mastering duties executed by Satanic Audio.
Track-list: 1. Intro 2. Wschód 3. Bezdroża Jałowe 4. Ku Szczytom i Cieniom 5. Pieśń Wrony 6. Pomrok Czasów 7. Rytuał Zapomniany 8. Sen o Polach Bezkresnych 9. Nikt Nie Woła 10. Pustka
Formed in 2013, Azels Mountain emerged from the shadows of the Polish underground with a vision rooted in spiritual symbolism and the raw essence of black metal. Drawing inspiration from Slavic heritage, mysticism, death, and anti-religious contemplation, the band crafts music steeped in cold atmosphere, hypnotic melodies, and fierce aggression.
Their sound balances the spirit of classic black metal with hypnotic, ritualistic compositions and mystic atmosphere. Across releases such as Góra milczenia (2016) and Wieczny sen (2019), Azels Mountain established a distinct identity built on melancholic depth, grim intensity and uncompromising style.
Azels Mountain will perform at Gothoom Festival in Slovakia, 24-25 July 2026.

Tech Hell Cyber Thrash, the incinerating debut from Texas and Alaska-based thrash metal trio SCATTER, is out now and can be streamed in its shredding entirety.
Born out of pandemic hacker movie marathons and late nights soldering together guitar pedal clones, SCATTER is the brainchild of Spenser Hodge and a love letter to 90s cyberpunk and hacker culture. Spenser enlisted Texas guitar wizard Ruben Cantu and longtime Alaskan collaborator Justin Rodda to help realize this vision.
The first material born of this collaboration now arrives with SCATTER’s debut EP, Tech Hell Cyber Thrash, a ripping and diverse collection of songs that run the gamut from classic death metal brutality to throwback speed metal harmonized leads, wrapped up in a paranoid, bloodsoaked thrash metal treatise on the interconnected hell world we call Earth. Deploying five incinerating tracks in under nineteen minutes, Tech Hell Cyber Thrash was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, California (Autopsy, Vastum, Necrot) and completed with artwork by Matt Stikker (Metallica, Power Trip, Billy Strings).
Tech Hell Cyber Thrash is out now digitally through SCATTER and on cassette via Immortal Jaw Recordings limited to 50 copies. Unleash hell HERE.
Recent Relapse Records signees LEFT TO DIE will unleash their debut full-length, Initium Mortis, on July 17th. Today, the band shares the album’s second single, “Witch Of Hell,” which originates back to some of Death’s earliest live demos!
Comments Terry Butler (Obituary, ex-Death), “‘Witch Of Hell’ is a straight up banger. No frills, old-school death metal at its finest. This is how it’s done and it would be a blueprint for future death/thrash bands!”
Stream “Witch Of Hell” on the Relapse YouTube Channel HERE and on all streaming services HERE.
Stream previously released lead single “Archangel” HERE.
Initium Mortis sees the supergroup – including original Death members Terry Butler (Obituary) and Rick Rozz (Massacre) – joining gore metal pioneer Matt Harvey (Exhumed, Gruesome) and Gus Rios (Gruesome) to capture the morbid depths of Death’s early catalog.
Initium Mortis will be released on CD, LP, cassette, and digital formats. Find preorders at Relapse.com HERE.

Los Angeles cinematic‑metal outfit Levinia returns with the third installment of their 2026 four‑single cycle, releasing their heaviest and most visceral track yet: “Bite.” The single and accompanying music video arrive as the follow‑up to the band’s recent releases “Silver Tongues” and “The Thorn,” continuing the group’s evolution into a darker, sharper, and more emotionally charged era.
“Bite,” like all four upcoming singles, is produced by Brandon Friesen (Halestorm, Nickelback, The Hu, Papa Roach), whose cinematic approach and modern metal sensibilities have helped elevate Levinia’s sound into its most refined form to date.
Drawing inspiration from Dracula, specifically the character of Mina Murray/Harker, “Bite” reimagines the classic Gothic arc of vulnerability transformed into strength. Vocalist Kourt Henson channels Mina’s evolution from prey to force of will, weaving a narrative of emotional reclamation, toxic entanglement, and the quiet power of survival.
“‘Bite’ is for anyone who’s ever felt drained by something or someone that tried to control them. It’s about finding the strength to fight back and become something stronger than what tried to break you,” says Henson.
Musically, “Bite” is Levinia at their most aggressive, relentless riffs, cinematic tension, and a vocal performance that swings between haunting restraint and explosive catharsis. Fans of the band’s heavier material, especially tracks like “Push and Pull,” will immediately gravitate toward its intensity.
The single’s artwork features a single drop of blood, a minimalist but potent symbol tied directly to the song’s themes. More than a nod to vampiric imagery, the blood represents the shedding of a former self, a transformation born from pain, loss, and the reclaiming of personal power.
“Bite” continues Levinia’s 2026 collaboration with producer Brandon Friesen, who worked closely with guitarist Alon Mei‑Tal and vocalist Kourt Henson during pre‑production to refine the band’s most ambitious material yet. The partnership has resulted in a sound that is heavier, more cinematic, and more emotionally deliberate than anything in the band’s catalog.
This single marks the third chapter in a four‑part release cycle that showcases the full spectrum of Levinia’s identity, from groove‑driven modern metal to atmospheric balladry to the ferocity embodied in “Bite.”
About: Levinia blends symphonic atmosphere, modern metal aggression, and cinematic storytelling into a sound influenced by Epica, Lacuna Coil, Sabaton, Disturbed, and Evanescence. Formed from the ashes of Los Angeles power‑metal band Aerius, the group has spent nearly a decade refining its identity into something bold, emotional, and unmistakably its own.
East Nashville hard rock force KALAMITY KILLS returns with “Los Días Son Malos,” a Spanish-language take on their song “These Days Are Evil.” The track captures a sense of cultural unrest and psychological tension that feels unmistakably current, blending aggressive riffs, driving rhythms, and a massive, chant-ready chorus built for rock fans across languages and borders.
“Los Días Son Malos” was born from a renewed connection between frontman Jamie Rowe and the Latin American audience that has followed him since his years with Guardian, whose Spanish-language releases helped build a lasting international fanbase. After revisiting those classic choruses on Instagram and seeing a powerful response from fans, the idea of recording a KALAMITY KILLS song in Spanish began to take shape.
“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have a large Latin American fanbase, due to the Spanish releases from my GUARDIAN years,” says Rowe. “Recently I started randomly singing those old choruses on Instagram, and hundreds of thousands of people showed up to watch. That response stuck with me. Around the same time, Jamey Perrenot’s wife Christie told him we should cut a Kalamity Kills song in Spanish, and the idea just clicked.”
“We found Rosa Rodriguez in Nashville, a Honduran native and a phenomenal singer in her own right. She came in and worked with me phonetically to get the vocal track right, and she also sang the female vocal lines so the song would stay true to the English recording of ‘These Days Are Evil.’ I’m really excited to put this out and hopefully connect with everyone who loves rock en español.”
With “Los Días Son Malos,” KALAMITY KILLS expands the reach of one of its most urgent songs without softening its impact. The Spanish version preserves the weight and intensity of the original while giving the track a new emotional dimension, powered by Rowe’s commanding vocal performance and Rodriguez’s dynamic female vocal lines.
Known for marrying hard rock muscle with sharp lyrical conviction, KALAMITY KILLS continues to carve out a sound that is heavy, melodic, and direct. “Los Días Son Malos” stands as both a tribute to the band’s Latin American listeners and a bold step toward a wider rock en español audience.
About KALAMITY KILLS
KALAMITY KILLS is a hard rock band forged in the heart of East Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2022 by vocalist Jamie Rowe and guitarist/producer Jamey Perrenot, the band emerged from the ashes of a solo project into a fully realized sonic assault, fueled by raw emotion, modern aggression, and a deep respect for rock’s roots. With a sound that fuses the swagger of classic hard rock with the intensity and polish of modern metal, KALAMITY KILLS strikes a rare balance between power and vulnerability.
Best known for their debut self-titled album Kalamity Kills, the band quickly turned heads thanks to high-profile collaborations with members of KORN, 3 DOORS DOWN, LA GUNS, CONQUER DIVIDE, and UNDEROATH. Their music has earned national airplay on SIRIUSXM’s Octane, landed on the Billboard Active Rock charts, and crossed over into viral success without ever chasing trends.
More than just a studio project, KALAMITY KILLS is a growing force with a full live lineup, including bassist/vocalist Julia Lauren Bullock and drummer Rob Bodley. Their songs ranging from explosive anthems to brutally honest ballads tackle themes of faith, failure, hypocrisy, redemption, and the messy beauty of being human.
KALAMITY KILLS is for the outsiders, the misfits, the ones who’ve been burned and are still standing. Loud. Unapologetic. Unforgettable.
Spanish melodic death metal powerhouse BLOODHUNTER have officially released their brand-new studio album“Sons Of The Abandoned” via ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.
Marking this milestone, the band are not only kicking off a run of Spanish live dates alongside CRYPTA today, but are also premiering a brand-new music video for “Masters Of Deceive”, one of the album’s most dynamic and emotionally charged tracks.
Guitarist Dani Arcos comments: “This song is insane. We mixed guttural and melodic vocals, slow and melodic choruses with the most extreme riffs on the album… and there’s even a recorded piano that you only realize has been there the whole time at the end of the song.”
Vocalist Diva Satánica adds: “This song includes my very first clean backing vocals in BLOODHUNTER. I really wanted to give it a try because it represented the eternal disappointment of people trying to pull out from me a different version of myself but which I didn’t really feel identified with as a vocalist. This song speaks about toxic environments and how hard is to step out from there to follow your own path. It was the first song that we wrote for this album: it goes from a very dramatic chorus to the most enraged verses, to represent the complex dynamics in a relationship.”
Formed in Galicia, BLOODHUNTER have steadily carved their name into the international extreme metal scene through relentless touring, uncompromising sound and a clear artistic vision. Fronted by Diva Satanica, the band blends extreme metal aggression with melodic depth, groove and narrative ambition, forging a sound that is both ferocious and emotionally charged.
Since their inception, BLOODHUNTER have stood out for their conceptual approach and strong identity. Their music has always balanced brutality with atmosphere, drawing from themes such as ancient civilizations, power, human conflict and transcendence. Over the years, the band has evolved naturally, refining their songwriting and pushing beyond genre boundaries without losing their aggressive core.
“Sons Of The Abandoned”, produced by Tue Madsen, marks a turning point in BLOODHUNTER’s career. It is their most personal and honest album so far, shifting the focus inward to explore identity, vulnerability, personal struggle and the cost of pursuing one’s own path.
For the first time, the lyrics speak directly from the heart, addressing inner demons, toxic environments, generational disconnection and the feeling of being lost in a world driven by individuality and superficial values. Musically, the album expands the band’s palette. Crushing riffs coexist with elegant grooves and striking melodic passages, while sharp contrasts define the songwriting: rage against beauty, speed against atmosphere, darkness against clarity.
With “Sons Of The Abandoned”, BLOODHUNTER solidify themselves as a band unafraid to evolve, challenge expectations and expose their own scars. This is not just another extreme metal album, it is a statement of identity, resistance and survival in a world that constantly demands compromise.

Australian death-doom collective REEKMIND is set to release its new EP Glints From The Crematorium on CD and 12” vinyl format on July 24th, 2026 through Night Terrors Records, further expanding the band’s bleak and emotionally devastating sonic universe.
Building upon the foundations established with their debut full-length, the group now pushes its sound into more exploratory territory, embracing new twists, dynamic shifts and experimental textures without sacrificing any of its crushing heaviness.
Rooted in massive riffs, oppressive atmospheres and an overwhelming sense of emotional collapse, REEKMIND continues to channel a form of catharsis where despair and weight coexist in perfect balance. The new material preserves the raw and organic intensity that defined the band’s earlier work, while broadening its expressive scope through more fluid structures and a deeper focus on tension, contrast and immersive pacing.
The EP also features guest vocals by Daniel Butler (Vastum, Decrepisy, Acephalix) on “Flesh Draped on a Pitiful Frame”, adding an additional layer of hostility and anguish to the release. Furthermore, the track “Rehearsal in a Body of Death” will appear exclusively as a bonus track on the physical edition and will not be made available digitally.
“‘Cyst Megalith’ is our first proper foray into a faster tempo of muck and aural detritus. It results in our shortest non-instrumental song to date, a stark contrast when paired with the longest and darkest song thus far on this EP. ‘Cyst’ expresses the growing mound of mental trauma that manifests into a growth encompassing a being past the point of recognition. A bridge from ‘Mired In The Reek Of Grief’ to our next LP, this single showcases a forthcoming darker, more unforgiving sound that continues to manifest onwards”.

Since their formation in 1993 in Austria, BELPHEGOR have stood as one of the most brutal and transgressive forces in black death metal. Founded by vocalist and guitarist Helmuth Lehner, the band has spent over three decades refining a sound forged in fire and sacrilege, merging the violent precision of death metal with the ritualistic darkness of black metal.
Their musick is an invocation of infernal power, a soundwall of relentless blasphemy.
From the raw intensity of early releases like The Last Supper (1995), Blutsabbath (1997), and Necrodaemon Terrorsathan (2000), to the increasingly sophisticated compositions found on albums such as Lucifer Incestus, Bondage Goat Zombie, Pestapokalypse VI, and Totenritual, BELPHEGOR have continually pushed the boundaries of extreme musick. Each release marks a further descent into forbidden territory.
The band’s thematic focus with ritual magick, religious inversion, and arcane symbolism is matched by their technical mastery, multilingual lyrics, and sonic experimentation.
With their twelfth studio album The Devils (2022), BELPHEGOR delivered one of their most punishing and ambitious records to date.
Swedish heavy rock/doom architects THE SONIC OVERLORDS have returned with a thunderous new digital single, “Calling Demons By Your Name,” accompanied by a striking performance music video. Released via M-Theory Audio, the track serves as a powerful statement of intent as the band continues actively working on more new music.
As the world seemingly devolves into chaos, THE SONIC OVERLORDS shine a beacon of hope in the form of a new single, “Calling Demons By Your Name.” An unrelenting steamroller of a track, packed with grit and power, that for a few minutes pulls you away from everyday troubles and into a realm where metal reigns supreme.
The new track pushes the band’s signature blend of crushing classic metal and massive melodic hooks into exciting new territory. Guitarist Morgan Zocek explains the vision behind the new anthem:
“The foundation of the song is heavily influenced by Black Sabbath, but the chorus also brings in a touch of Journey through its melodies and harmonies. And that’s something I would like to keep experimenting with in the future, blending AOR elements with our doom/classic hard rock sound. I feel like that combination could become something quite unique.“
Formed in 2017 by guitarist Morgan Zocek, THE SONIC OVERLORDS joined a few years later by vocalist Marcus Zachrisson Rubin and the bottom-end of bassist Daniel Ramírez caught the attention of the global metal underground with their 2021 debut album, Last Days of Babylon.
The band established a “warm familiarity” by seamlessly bridging the gap between late ‘70s/early ‘80s classic hard rock and epic heavy doom (think Dio/Martin-era Black Sabbath, and classic Rainbow, Candlemass, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Scorpions and Michael Schenker Group).
With “Calling Demons By Your Name,” THE SONIC OVERLORDS, together with drummer Michael Dahlqvist, are cementing their place in the modern heavy rock landscape while carving out a melodic path entirely their own. Stay tuned for more updates and new music announcements in the near future.
“The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. II – ‘Incursion‘” is the new single release from progressive extreme metal project ANNIHILUS MUNDI. The track offers a further taste of the band’s forthcoming sophomore album, The Dead Sea Scrolls, scheduled for independent release on November 6, 2026.
Loosely following the story of the 1995 anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, “The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. II – ‘Incursion'” opens with a flashback to the Katsuragi expedition. On the album, “The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. I” and “Mvt. II” combine to form an epic 13-minute opus. While the former delves into project mastermind Daniel Saillant’s personal experiences, the latter focuses on fictional examples from Evangelion.
“The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. II – ‘Incursion'” describes a society who has constructed their goals based on face-value interpretations of the words of ancient civilizations, leading to their mutual destruction.
Lyrically, Composer and lyricist Daniel Saillant explains, “the opening verses about the Katsuragi expedition detail how the titular Dead Sea Scrolls led to the discovery of Adam, the First Angel in Antarctica. Future verses describe how the Angels’ mission to reunite with Adam is motivated by clandestine knowledge given to them by their God, which exists entirely in the shadows. Both the humans and Angels alike operate under the directive of ancient religious knowledge, and in both cases, countless lives are lost and endless destruction is wrought across the planet.”
ANNIHILUS MUNDI traverse an amalgamation of styles across “The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. II – ‘Incursion'”. The track opens with clean tones of acoustic guitar melodies, vocal harmonies, and an enveloping somber mood. Obliterating harsh tones strike through the atmosphere with thunderous impact, and the song features a guitar solo by Andrew Matarazzo (PERENNIAL QUEST). Orchestral strings bring an otherworldly power alongside aggressive harsh vocals and ferocious riffs. The dramatic interplay of light and shade pervades throughout the instrumental arrangements of “The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. II – ‘Incursion'”.
The Dead Sea Scrolls explores the personal lived experiences of composer and lyricist Daniel Saillant. In a fusion of genres and artforms, ANNIHILUSMUNDI presents the central concepts through the lens of Hideaki Anno’s notorious 1995 anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion and its subsequent 1997 film The End of Evangelion.
The Dead Sea Scrolls – Track List:
1. Second Impact (Overture) 2. Absolute Terror 3. A Hedgehog’s Dilemma 4. The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. I – “Reminiscence” 5. The Dead Sea Scrolls, Mvt. II – “Incursion” 6. Black Moon 7. King of Thorns 8. Terminal Dogma, Mvt. I – “Do you love me?” 9. Terminal Dogma, Mvt. II – “Take care of yourself.” 10. Terminal Dogma, Mvt. III – “Love is destructive.” 11. Terminal Dogma, Mvt. IV – “I need you.” 12. Silent Planet 13. Human Instrumentality
The Dead Sea Scrolls was produced, mixed and mastered, and engineered by Daniel Saillant at Wailing Pines Productions. The album’s artwork was created by Chris at Misanthropic Designs.
About ANNIHILUS MUNDI:
Formed in 2018, ANNIHILUS MUNDI is the creation of Daniel Saillant, blending elements of death metal, shoegaze, and progressive rock. His 2019 debut album Grief and subsequent releases have positioned him as a distinctive voice in the underground metal scene. Inspired by bands such as CYNIC, DEAFHEAVEN, and DREAM THEATER, Saillant continues to push musical boundaries, combining harsh and clean vocals, complex guitar arrangements, and introspective lyrics.
Massachusetts metal powerhouse FUMING MOUTH has announced their highly anticipated new full-length album, The Ringing Bell, due out July 17th via Triple B Records.
The album marks the first FUMING MOUTH recording to feature drummer Jay Weinberg alongside vocalist/guitarist Mark Whelan, guitarist Pat Merson, and bassist Chris Berg. Recorded at GodCity Studio with Kurt Ballou, The Ringing Bell finds the band pushing their trademark fusion of death metal and hardcore to new extremes, delivering the most powerful and fully realized release of their career.
Today, the band also unveil the album’s lead single and music video, “A Blaze of Nihilism,” offering the first glimpse into the relentless intensity and sharpened songwriting that define the record.
For centuries, the ringing of a bell has signified moments of consequence; warning of danger, marking celebration, calling communities together, or signaling the completion of a difficult journey. The symbolism resonates deeply throughout The Ringing Bell, an album forged through perseverance, transformation, and an unwavering commitment to moving forward.
Since emerging from New England’s underground more than a decade ago, FUMING MOUTH have steadily established themselves as one of heavy music’s most respected and uncompromising bands. What began as a passion project led by Whelan evolved into a globally recognized force through a string of acclaimed releases, relentless touring, and an ever-expanding reputation for combining crushing heaviness with genuine emotional weight.
The Ringing Bell Track List: 1. Cheat Death 2. Self-Exhumed 3. Finally Fearless 4. A Blaze of Nihilism 5. After Oblivion 6. Hidden in the Moor 7. Vivid Revelations 8. Flourishing Flesh 9. The Ringing Bell 10. Barbarian Scourge 11. Respect Mortality
Across The Ringing Bell, the band refine every aspect of their sound. Towering riffs, punishing rhythms, bleak atmosphere, and memorable songwriting collide with a newfound sense of focus and urgency. Weinberg’s explosive performance behind the kit injects fresh energy into the material, while Whelan’s unmistakable vocal ferocity and guitar work drive the album forward with uncompromising intensity.
The result is a record that feels both deeply personal and universally cathartic; an album born from struggle, perseverance, and the determination to emerge stronger from adversity.

Italian death-doom newcomers ETERNAL MOURN have signed with Terror From Hell Records for the release of their debut EP, Winds of Sorrow, scheduled for July 20th, 2026.
Born from the collaboration between drummer Debla and guitarist/vocalist Gabriel (Black Oath, The Rite, Extirpation), and later completed by guitarist Eros (Extirpation, Funest) and bassist/vocalist Santo (Araphel, Demonomancy), ETERNAL MOURN emerged from a shared desire to channel feelings of melancholy, frustration, inner decay and loss into music steeped in darkness and emotion.
Drawing heavily from the great death-doom tradition of the 1990s, the band pays homage to genre-defining acts such as Paradise Lost, Katatonia and Cemetary while avoiding mere nostalgia. Instead, ETERNAL MOURN reinterpret those influences with remarkable confidence and authenticity, crafting songs that feel complete, memorable and emotionally resonant, without sacrificing the raw and rugged edge that lies at the heart of classic doom/death metal.
Recorded at Spvn Studio in Guanzate, Italy, Winds of Sorrow consists of three carefully crafted tracks that capture the essence of the band’s vision: mournful melodies, somber atmospheres and a pervasive sense of desolation intertwined with powerful riffs and heartfelt performances. The result is a debut that balances melancholy and heaviness with natural ease, establishing ETERNAL MOURN as a promising new name within the contemporary death-doom scene.
Mind Melting Metal Project Led By Ira Black (Vio-Lence, Lizzy Borden, Metal Church) Unveils First Glimpse Of Upcoming Full-Length Album
Created and fronted by veteran guitarist Ira Black (Vio-Lence, Metal Church, I Am Morbid, Lizzy Borden, Westfield Massacre), APOCÆLYPSE represents a bold new chapter in his career. Stepping beyond his celebrated role as a guitarist, Black takes center stage as vocalist, songwriter, and creative architect, delivering a sound that merges crushing modern metal with cinematic atmosphere and thought-provoking themes.
“INTELL-I-GENTS” serves as the band’s introduction and a statement of intent. Driven by towering riffs, industrial textures, and anthemic melodies, the song explores the growing influence of artificial intelligence, digital surveillance, and society’s increasingly complex relationship with technology. Equal parts cautionary tale and futuristic metal anthem, the track offers a glimpse into the conceptual depth that defines APOCÆLYPSE’s vision.

Commenting on the incendiary new song, Black states:
“Intell-I-Gents’ is my transmission from the edge of a world quietly handing its pulse to machines, where convenience becomes consent and intelligence starts writing the rules we live by. I fused Industrial/Metal weight with Electronic pulse to mirror that tension: a human heartbeat colliding with an algorithm that never sleeps. This song isn’t a warning from the future, it’s a mirror held to right now, asking who’s really in control as we cross the line.”
The accompanying music video, directed by Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films and co-directed by Black, brings the song’s themes to life through a striking visual narrative that reflects the tension between humanity and the rapidly evolving digital world.
APOCÆLYPSE features a powerhouse lineup led by Ira Black alongside his son, guitarist Ira Black IV, whose classical training and technical prowess bring a unique dynamic to the band’s sound. Rounding out the lineup are bassist Matt Snell (formerly of Five Finger Death Punch) and drummer Lonny Pasillas (formerly of Deadsett and Kill Devil Hill). Together, the group blends decades of experience with a forward-thinking approach, crafting modern metal that is both crushingly heavy and ambitiously expansive.
Further elevating the band’s debut is acclaimed producer and mixer Kane Churko, whose work on “INTELL-I-GENTS” delivers the track’s massive sonic impact. Renowned for collaborations with Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed, Churko helps shape a sound that balances crushing heaviness with contemporary clarity and precision.
The song was then mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Rob Halford, Testament, Sabaton), whose expert touch brings additional depth, power, and polish to the final mix, ensuring “INTELL-I-GENTS” hits with maximum impact.
“INTELL-I-GENTS” is the first of several singles scheduled for release throughout the summer as APOCÆLYPSE prepares to unveil their forthcoming debut album. The ten-song record is expected to arrive across digital platforms later this year, with additional music videos, live appearances, and touring plans to be announced in the coming months.
With its combination of modern metal power, cinematic ambition, and fearless subject matter, APOCÆLYPSE emerges as a new force ready to challenge expectations and confront the future head-on.

Hailing from Groningen, The Netherlands, SAVAGE continue their march through the death metal underground with the announcement of their upcoming EP Septic Tomb, set for release on July 6th, 2026.
Born from the ashes of Dutch death metal outfit Entrapment, SAVAGE have quickly carved out a distinct identity rooted in the genre’s formative years. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts such as Nihilist, Master and Repulsion, the band delivers death metal that remains faithful to the old-school spirit while standing out through strong songwriting, memorable riffs and carefully constructed arrangements. Their songs strike immediately, combining directness and authenticity with a level of craftsmanship that rewards repeated listens.
Following the release of their well-received three-song demo in 2023 through Dawnbreed Records, SAVAGE entered Germany’s Soundlodge Studios in May 2025 to record four new tracks under the guidance of renowned producer Jörg Uken. The resulting material captures the band’s raw and uncompromising approach while showcasing their ability to write memorable death metal without sacrificing intensity or atmosphere.
The vinyl edition of Septic Tomb to be released by MilkCow Records, will include both the four new songs and the band’s 2023 demo, offering a complete snapshot of SAVAGE‘s work to date. The CD version will be released simultaneously through Dawnbreed Records and Necrolatry Records.
The band is already looking beyond this release. At the end of December 2026, SAVAGE will return to Soundlodge Studios to record five additional tracks for a future release, further cementing their commitment to carrying the torch of classic death metal.
To further mark this new chapter, SAVAGE will make their live debut at the legendary Kill-Town Death Fest in Copenhagen this September, bringing their raw and ugly sound to one of the most respected stages in the international death metal underground.
