Witherfall has absolutely nothing to do with this tour cancellation. We found out during rehearsals that the tour had been pulled, one week before the band were set to fly out to pick up our bus. Witherfall had every last production detail on our end completely solidified. Airline tickets, Bus, Trailer, Driver, Tour manager, Shipping of Tour merchandise (which has dates printed on them that no longer exist!!!) Rehearsals, Witherfall Beer at venues and countless other expenses that will not be reimbursed. Needless to say, we are devastated by this news. Each one of the aforementioned pieces took months of planning and every detail was carefully managed making this endeavor very time consuming and VERY expensive.
The reality of the math is Witherfall will need to eat the upfront costs of over $12K not including what our crew, and band members will lose because they turned down other work. None of these expenses will be recouped. We apologize to our fans that has had plans that were affected. We had every intention of bearing the cost to put the band out on the road. Again, we had everything planned and were ready and excited to get to play and meet the fans coming out.
We are extremely upset by this last minute rug pull. Even the best case scenario the band would still be operating at a loss but that is the price of bringing our music to you all. If you’d like to purchase a souvenir of tour and support the band (Tour Funeral Expenses) you can get one of these packages or a shirt here:

Belgian melodic dark metal band FRAGMENTUM has released a brand new track, “Quirigua Successors.” The song is a continuation of the Mayan themes explored in the band’s 2021 release, “Masters of Complexity”.
FRAGMENTUM guitarist/vocalist Jan Bruggeman comments on the single: “Quirigua Successors’ is a song about a Mayan clan that endured, but survived Clash Of The Clans and Feast Of The Flesh, as described in our previous album Masters Of Perplexity. The album ends with ‘Secrets Of The Stones,’ like extinguished Maya settlements do, but the Quirigua people are a strong and smart clan. Will they reveal these secrets and who knows what else the future brings for them?”
FRAGMENTUM is a melodic dark metal band from Lokeren, Belgium founded by Jan Bruggeman and Gunnar Nopens, accompanied on stage by WouterMacaré (drums) and Ozzy Voskuilen (bass). The band has been described as a hybrid of Depeche Mode and In Flames, featuring melodies, synths, and ambient sounds combined with heavy riffs and crushing grooves.
In 2019, FRAGMENTUM released its first full-length album, Pugnacity, which showcased a more straightforward approach than earlier material. The album’s lyrics were focused on personal turmoil and inner struggle.
A concept album, titled “Masters Of Perplexity” was released in 2021. This album explored Mayan history and philosophy, each song a chapter in an elaborate and epic story. After the album’s release, FRAGMENTUM embarked on a short tour across Eastern Europe.
You can experience the band’s most recent creation, a single titled “Quirigua Successors” this summer. The song is a precursor of their next full-length album, coming later this year.
FRAGMENTUM has shared the stage with some of metal’s biggest names, including Children of Bodom, Swallow the Sun, Wolfheart, Soulfly, and Annihilator.
Louisiana-based metallic hardcore outfit CAPRA will return to the stage next month with Texas post hardcore outfit, TheGrasshopperLiesHeavy. The journey runs from September 16th in Austin, Texas and closes with a performance at FurnaceFest in Birmingham, Alabama on September 23rd. The week-long tour includes two shows supporting statemates Eyehategod.
Comments guitarist Tyler Harper, “With Furnace Fest coming up, we’re beyond ready to be back on the road with our friends in The Grasshopper Lies Heavy, one of the sickest bands in the Texas underground right now and to be doing a few shows with the legendary Eyehategod! These dates are going to be a blast and among our last few shows of the year. Come out and party with us!”
Additionally, the band will terrorize their home state in October on a pair of shows supporting Exhorder as well as a show with KENMode Halloween night. See all confirmed dates below.

Formed in 2016 by guitarist Tyler Harper and drummer Jeremy Randazzo, the initial idea for CAPRA was to create something that would be fresh while still giving listeners a sense of nostalgia for the sounds of the late ’90s and early 2000s hardcore and punk scenes. Following various lineup changes, and adding Crow Lotus (vocals), Trevor Alleman (guitar), and Ben Paramore (bass) to their ranks, everything came together. InTransmission — recorded with Jai Benoit (Golgothan, Father Rust), then mixed by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues), and mastered by Brad Boatright (Pig Destroyer, Integrity, Torche, Idle Hands) — represents the culmination of years of hard work, reflecting everything they’ve been writing and pouring into the band since solidifying the lineup.
“We wanted it to be the heaviest and most complete record we could possibly lay down, composed of only the best songs we’ve written over years of playing together,” says Paramore. “It’s the best set of songs we’ve ever had, and we’re all extremely proud of them, and each other, so we hope it sounds like a total passion project — because it is.”

MISFIRE will be touring in support of Sympathy For The Ignorant, their ferocious debut full-length released through MNRK Heavy earlier this year. Conjuring old-school flavored thrash metal devastation with the kind of bombastic firepower that could wake the dead, MISFIRE creates more of a racket than bands twice their size, unleashing song after song of unrelenting savagery. It’s music that could have arrived in the thrash golden age of 1986, when bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Dark Angel, and Sodom delivered crucial records. And yet MISFIRE is forward-thinking, injecting modern metal mastery into their brew for a potent and timeless sound.
Captured in a small studio and engineered by vocalist/bassist Sean Coogan, MISFIRE’s SympathyForTheIgnorant is free from click-tracks and other unnecessary frills, projecting the purity of what three musicians raised on Pantera and the Big 4 sound like in a room together. The record is heavy, brawny, and confident, filled with the kind of earworm thrash metal riffs that sends aspiring players to the guitar store.
Sympathy For The Ignorant is available on CD, LP, cassette, and digital formats. Find ordering options at THIS LOCATION.

CANNIBALCORPSE continues to tour in support of their critically cherished Violence Unimagined full-length, released last year via Metal Blade Records. Comprising eleven tracks, ViolenceUnimagined is state of the art death metal played with passion and breathless precision, making for another flawless addition to what is inarguably one of the premier catalogues of the genre.
While they continue to do what they do with aplomb, the one substantial change to CANNIBALCORPSE is the addition of guitarist Erik Rutan to their ranks, joining bassist Alex Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett, and vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. Known for his roles in Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse, and most notably fronting the mighty Hate Eternal, Rutan has long established himself as one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary death metal. Simultaneously, he has built up a reputation as one of the most in demand producers in metal, having previously produced four CANNIBALCORPSE albums (in addition to Violence Unimagined), alongside the likes of Goatwhore, Soilent Green, and Belphegor. Filling in live on guitar since 2019, in 2020 he became a full member, contributing to the writing process.
After twelve studio albums and several #1 chart positions in Finland, THE69EYES have no plans of slowing down. The band recently announced a massive European Fall tour from October through December 2022 and are also working on a new full-length studio release that will see the light of day in early 2023. In the meantime, the Helsinki Vampires allow no rest for the wicked and have unleashed a brand new single: “Call Me Snake.” It’s a dark summer hit, mixing an ‘80s gothic vibe with hard rocking guitars. Imagine The Stooges meeting early Ministry and ‘90s horror movies, and a track that shines through its simplicity yet still offers crazy twists around every corner.
“It’s 1997 in John Carpenter’s Escape From New York sci-fi classic and Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken saves the world,” comments vocalist Jyrki69. “These are the thematic elements for ‘Call Me Snake’ and the world will be saved again!”
Stream or download “Call Me Snake” at THIS LOCATION.

On August 26th, 2022 symphonic gothic metal band BLOOD OF INDIGO will unleash their debut album DawnoftheShadedWorld.
The band comments:
“We poured every ounce of love and passion into this album. Each song is like a carefully crafted dish from a Dark Fantasy Metal buffet. Every song tells its own story and was inspired by our favourite video games. We gave our devoted attention to every little detail and we hope this album will inspire someone to create. Dawn of The Shaded World is everything we’ve dreamed of and more.”
Become immersed in the dark, fantastical world that surrounds BLOOD OF INDIGO. Legend has it that the dark, majestic project hail from Toronto, Canada, and seek to indulge in their passion for storytelling through epic music.
The dynamic trio’s creative influences spawn from metal bands including DIMMU BORGIR, NIGHTWISH and DREAM THEATER, along video games such as Dark Souls, Hollow Knight and Bloodborne. The origins of this mystic ensemble are all but lost, scrolls from the distant era of 2017 reveal that following advice from Lindsay Schoolcraft to pursue his dream of being a metal vocalist, Alex Centorame formed the band in that year with MariuszSyposz. The third companion Nathan Gross joined forces with the line-up shortly after. Thriving in the realms of horror and fantasy, they sought a title that would live up to the bravery, majesty and wonder – and BLOOD OF INDIGO was born.
BLOOD OF INDIGO is currently preparing to unveil lyric videos for “Angelus, the ‘Faceless’ Vampire” and “Sphynx, Collector of Eyes”, before unleashing their eagerly awaited debut album Dawn of The Shaded World. The album also features a guest appearance from Juno nominated singer/songwriter Lindsay Schoolcraft.

New York-based old-school, all-female death squad CASTRATOR have launched the video for “Inquisition Sins,” the newest track off their forthcoming album DefiledinOblivion. The song features a guest guitar solo from OBITUARY guitarist Kenny Andrews.
Drummer Carolina Perez, who edited and produced the video, comments on the song, “The lyrics talk about the Catholic Church dark era of the Inquisition terror when “witches were burnt alive” (regular people) for being wise or just being themselves.”
The video comes via an exclusive premiere hosted by Brooklyn Vegan. Watch “Inquisition Sins” now at this location.
With their third release to date, the New York four-piece have perfected their blend of fierce old-school USDM to a fault. More uncompromising and ruthless than ever before, CASTRATOR’s zero-fucks-given approach rips and shreds across 9 hypnotically violent new tracks (alongside a cover of Venom’s Countess Bathory) and makes DefiledinOblivion a release to be reckoned with. Boys club beware!
Revolver Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan, Decibel Magazine, and Gimme Metal Radio are all offering limited edition vinyl variants of DefiledinOblivion. Each edition is limited to 100 copies.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of her debut solo album, RushingThroughTheSky, gothic metal singer/songwriter LINDSAY SCHOOLCRAFT will be releasing a brand new, remastered edition of the album. The album will be available on vinyl for the first time in a limited edition blue variant and digitally streaming for the first time. Pre-orders are available HERE.
Lindsay comments:
“When I first recorded and released this EP I did not account for the fact that one day it was going to turn 10. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that a decade has come and gone. Luckily, my team and I caught before the big anniversary had a chance to pass us by.
For years the fans have been asking me to print this first release on vinyl, and here it finally is! Remastered just for the occasion. You can now experience the same songs from 10 years ago with a new sound and look.
Thanks to Phantasma Photography the Vinyl comes with new artwork too. Anyone who pre-orders the vinyl from my official shop gets it signed and personally addressed and will also receive a download of the 2022 version of “December Rain.”
I’m thrilled to celebrate my debut as a solo artist in such a special way a whole decade later.”
Juno Nominated LINDSAY SCHOOLCRAFT composes and performs Ethereal Gothic music exploring orchestral soundscapes and heavy metal. From the small city of Oshawa, Canada, LINDSAY is a hauntingly enchanting Singer, Harpist, and Pianist, and was presented with the 2021 Oshawa Music Award for Artist of the Year. Releasing her own solo work since 2010 with the debut full length metal album Martyr, co-written by Grammy Award Winner Rocky Gray (Formerly EVANESCENCE), releasing in 2019, and her harp-driven, orchestral offering Worlds Away in 2020.
Her music is elegant and yet powerful, delivering a compelling sound fueled by raw emotion. LINDSAY’s style prevails effortlessly through every composition whether focusing solely on orchestral instrumentation or delving into the realms of heavy music. LINDSAY received her musical education from established vocal instructors, the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), and briefly at York University for Opera and Theory studies. She continues today to study in the fields of business, musical theory, and music production.
LINDSAY works with a wide variety of artists and different sub-genres in metal. She has recently featured on gothic-metalcore hitmakers MOTIONLESS IN WHITE’s “Cyberhex”, hardcore outfit CANCERBATS’ “Hail the Acoustic Destroyer”, black/folk metal artist MYRKUR’s single “Rivers Blessed” on harp, and released “Stolen Light” with SARAH JEZEBEL DEVA. LINDSAY embraces the creativity of musicians around the world leading to the production of some extraordinary collaborations.
Guitarist Josh Christian about the song: “This song takes on the concept of wage slavery by using a scene from the Kinross’ Paracatu gold mine in Brazil, one of the largest in the world. Slavery is alive and well, and we wear it around our necks and on our fingers everyday. A brutal syncopated riff adorned with polyphonic and angular harmonies and solos…Toxik strikes again!”
“Dis Morta” marks the thrash metal legends’ third full-length album, and picks up where “Think This”, the band’s second album, leaves off. It’s an ambitious album with very little regard for tradition or even expectation – it’s honest and real, and the heaviest TOXIK release yet!
You can pre-order the album as a CD Digipak as well as limited edition vinyl LP in selected online stores – click here » https://lnk.to/dismorta
“Dis Morta” was mixed by Martin Furia, and mastered by Maor Appelbaum / Appelbaum Mastering. The album’s cover artwork was designed by Alcides Burn / Burn Artworks.
The album will be released on August 5, 2022 via Massacre Records.
