KRAMPUS – Drummer Struck By Lightning And Leaves Band
With one laughing and one crying eye, KRAMPUS have announced that their drummer Carlo is no longer a part of the band effective immediately. He has, in fact, been struck by lightning and considers himself lucky to not have been killed. Thankfully Carlo survived, but he will not be able to play the drums for some time to come as he rehabilitates himself.
KRAMPUS comments, “Carlo is a great friend of ours, and we would like to thank him for the great effort and dedication he has had for the band. We wish him well and a full recovery, and all the best for his future endeavors.”
KRAMPUS will continue their music juggernaut and are already lining up a replacement for Carlo. The band offers one hint on their new drummer: “He’s a very talented musician, and you have most likely already heard of him with his current band!”

I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry when I first read the news and it’s good that he survived actually :O Lightnings are really dangerous normally. It’s sad that he had to leave the band but I am glad to read that he’s alive. I am gonna see Krampus this Friday so let’s see what they are gonna say about the drummer and stuff… 😦

I first read about this on your site, then (days later) a press release came to my email inbox. It’s so scary, to hear of this unfortunate incident to Carlo. Usually people don’t survive getting hit by lightning!
I’ve taken quite a liking to the Folk Metal meets Extreme from Krampus! Have a grand time at the Krampus show! Write a review on what you see and hear too?! I would definitely be one to read it. 🙂 \m/\m/
