I watched ‘Lemmy – the Movie’ last week. Two Words:
Metal Legend. \m/\m/

You’ve said it, Kev! Hey… have you ever crossed Metal paths with Motörhead? 🙂 \m/\m/

The nearest I came was when I was playing in Oulu, Finland, and they were in jail in Helsinki, if I remember correctly!! haha! Of course, I know many who are well-connected to Lemmy though, such as Girlschool, the Saxon lads, (Saxon’s Pete Gill of course filling the drumstool for Motörhead at one time.)

Whoa! LOL! Wonder what the boys of Motörhead were in jail for at that time! 😮
Kev, that Motörhead album Pete Gill played on inspired my family and I through one hell of an ice storm! True story: an emergency trip that took 4+ hours of driving through a classic New England Nor’easter to visit my dad at the hospital (about 4 yrs ago). We played ‘Orgasmatron’ non-stop the entire way!! \m/
As I look back upon it now, I shudder. That storm was the WORST storm I’ve ever experienced while living on the East Coast, due to it’s icy mess on the highways. 😮
Something about that mystical Motörhead groove on ‘Orgasmatron’ made us feel safe on that epic day. \m/

…and what else is music for if not inspiration, eh Stone? Great story!
Only yesterday, I was driving down to the coast, top down blasting out ‘Devil’s Road’ by Hughes/Turner…and it just kind of made me feel GOOD to be alive, y’know? Rock music does that! \m/\m/

I couldn’t have said it any better myself Kev! Music can and does soothe/heal the soul. \m/\m/
