On this day in 1981 – The seventh studio album from the amazing Judas Priest, Point Of Entry, was released. This album features the Metal classics: Hot Rockin’ and Heading Out To The Higway. I always really liked this Judas Priest album, regardless of it being sort of ignored by some.

FATS DOMINO

On February 26th, 1928, the legendary Fats Domino was born in Louisiana. Happy Birthday, Fats Domino! Whoa! Fats Domino is a Rock ‘N’ Roll pioneer, as a pianist, singer and songwriter. Fats Domino is world-famous for dozens of hit songs; with such timeless Rock ‘N’ Roll classics as: Ain’t That A Shame, Blueberry Hill, Blue Monday, I’m Walkin’, The Big Beat, I hear You Knocking and so many more.

Fats Domino was awarded the National Medal Of Arts, from President Bill Clinton.

Fats Domino lost all of his personal possessions and his home was wrecked by Hurricane Katrina, back in August of 2005.

* Fats Domino was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, back in 1986.
