Men Become Gods is the second of three EPs that Dead Earth Politics are serving up to the Metal masses. Originating from Austin, Texas, Dead Earth Politics deliver a Classic Metal meets Groove Metal style, with plenty of relevant Metal vibes cascading from their songs, on this EP. With 4 songs to sink your Metal ears into, Dead Earth Politics do play melodic songs without sacrificing on the heavy side. The rhythm section is both strapping and rapid, while the guitarists are an absolute treat to listen to. Overall, the vocals from Ven are clean and aggressive; you’ll catch on to the lyrics without any problem… think James Hetfield and/or Sully Erna.

In a perfect world that does not exist, Dead Earth Politics are a band that has created some great songs that walk the fine-line of being mainstream acceptable; this band should really have no problem continuing their catapult to much wider success around the world-wide Metal community. Dead Earth Politics have combined the raw power of today’s American made Metal and solid production that is downright impressive. I became a believer in Dead Earth Politics, with their first EP release: The Queen Of Steel; now I am a boasting fan of these Metal Texans. Metal be thy name. – Stone
