On This Day In METAL History – April 13th… A Brief PANTERA Edition
On April 13th, 1991 – The mighty PANTERA performed at The Ritz in Roseville, Michigan, USA.
On April 13th, 2015 – The Best of Pantera: Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboy’s Vulgar Hits! is ranked at #17 on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Honestly, if you do not own any PANTERA CDs, start off with this gem; it will get you hooked into buying everything else in their discography. Plus, this release also contains a DVD with a dozen of PANTERA’s music video’s. Freaking amazing stuff it is.
2015 – PANTERA’s sixth studio album, Vulgar Display Of Power, is ranked at #50 on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Yes, this album features the timeless Metal songs: Walk, Hollow and Fucking Hostile. This incredible album was released back in February of 1992. This PANTERA album is such an essential album to own that it’s beyond mandatory. Really.
