On This Day In METAL History – July 1st… From BON JOVI To STRAIGHT LINE STITCH
On July 1st, 1983 – Bon Jovi signed with Mercury Records. The following year, the debut and self-titled Bon Jovi album released, featuring the hit singles: Runaway and She Don’t Know Me. Holy smokes!
On July 1st, 2014 – On their Maiden England tour, the magnificent IRON MAIDEN performed at Herchesfeld in Roeser, Luxembourg. Run to the hills!
On July 1st, 2015 – Tennessee’s Straight Line Stitch has their newly released Transparency EP ranked at #6, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Far out, man!
On July 1st, 2015 – Butcher Babies have their forthcoming studio album, Take It Like A Man, ranked at #11, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Whoa! This album will release on August 21st, 2015.
