On This Day In METAL History – July 3rd… From VAN HALEN To LINDEMANN
On July 3rd, 1982 – The great Van Halen had their hit cover single Dancing In The Street ranked at #38, on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Boo-yah!! This hit is featured on Van Halen’s fifth studio album from 1982: Diver Down. By the way, I absolutely love that Diver Down album. Whoa.
On July 3rd, 1984 – The legendary SCORPIONS performed at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. This tour had the SCORPIONS promoting their ninth studio album: Love At First Sting. Man alive!
On July 3rd, 2015 – The forthcoming studio album, Fallen, from the sensational Stryper is ranked at #86, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Fallen will be released on October 16th, 2015. Yeah, man!
On July 3rd, 2015 – The newly released studio album, Skills In Pills, from Lindemann has debuted at #144, on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. Jeepers creepers!
