On This Day In METAL History – July 15th… From JOE SATRIANI To MOTIONLESS IN WHITE
On July 15th, 2015 – The third studio album, Reincarnate, from Pennsylvania’s Motionless In White is ranked at #40, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. It’s an excellent album too. This MIW record was released back in September of 2014. Metal Be Thy Name.
On July 15th, 2015 – Black Sabbath’s compilation album We Sold Our Soul For Rock ‘N’ Roll is ranked at #100, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Man, alive! This album was originally released back in 1976, in the USA.
JOE SATRIANI
On July 15th, 1956, Joe Satriani was born in the USA. Happy Birthday, Joe Satriani! Holy macaroni! Joe Satriani is an influential and world-class guitarist, while earning a super successful career as a solo artist. As a founding member of the G3 concert tour, Joe Satriani has performed on stage with dozens of guitar legends over the years, including: Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and Yngwie Malmsteen, to name a select few.
Joe is also a member of the great Hard Rock supergroup: Chickenfoot. Joe Satriani’s extensive solo discography dates back to 1986, with his debut album: Not Of This Earth. Long live Joe Satriani!
