On October 25th, 1975 – Sweet hits #25 in the U.S. with their third studio album: Desolation Boulevard. This album classic features the hit single Fox On The Run. The U.S. album version also includes the hit: The Ballroom Blitz.
On this day in 1986 – Bon Jovi’s third studio album, Slippery When Wet, reached the top of the Billboard 200 Album Chart for the first of seven (non-consecutive) weeks. It was also Bon Jovi’s first number one album.
On October 25th, 2003 – At a KISS/Aerosmith concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, Steven Tyler’s daughter Mia married Dave Buckner, the drummer for Papa Roach. The couple eventually divorced in 2005.
On this day in 2006 – The great Ronnie James Dio made the announcement that he would be reuniting with his former Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward as Heaven & Hell for a 2007 world tour. Vinny Appice would later replace Bill Ward on drums.
On this day in KISSTORY, October 25th, 2014 – KISS is headlining the Heaven & Hell Metal Fest, in Mexico City, Mexico.

GLENN TIPTON
Born on October 25th, 1948 was Glenn Tipton. Happy Birthday, Glenn! Hell and yeah! Glenn Tipton is the super legendary guitarist and longtime member of the super-duper legendary: Judas Priest. A true Heavy Metal pioneer and influence is Glenn Tipton!
Glenn Tipton has also recorded two successful solo albums. On March 7, 2006, Rhino Records released a new version of his 1997 Atlantic Records album Baptizm Of Fire along with the Tipton, Enwistle and Powell album Edge Of The World. This album includes previously unreleased recordings with the late drummer Cozy Powell and bassist John Entwistle.
MATTHIAS JABS
Born on October 25th, 1955 was Matthias Jabs. Happy Birthday, Matthias! Whoa! Matthias Jabs is famously known as being a longtime rhythm and lead guitarist for Scorpions. Matthias lives in Hannover, Germany and lists as his favorite food being: Italian. Matthias also lists his favorite sports as being: tennis and soccer. CHAD SMITH
Born on October 25th, 1961 was Chad Smith. Happy Birthday, Chad! Yeah! Chad Smith is famously known as the drummer for Red Hot Chili Peppers. Chad Smith is also the drummer for Chickenfoot, a supergroup that also features Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Joe Satriani. Red Hot Chili Peppers were inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012 and presented by Chris Rock.
