On December 12th, 1953, Bruce Kulick was born. Happy birthday, Bruce! Whoa and yeah! Bruce Kulick is famously known as a former guitarist for the iconic KISS, during an arena era when KISS didn’t use character makeup or costumes.

Bruce Kulick spent twelve years as a member of KISS, playing lead guitar on their following albums: Asylum (1985), Crazy Nights (1987), Hot In The Shade (1989), Revenge (1992), KISS ALIVE III (1993), KISS Unplugged (1996) and Carnival Of Souls: The Final Sessions (1997).

Bruce Kulick is also featured on nine (official) KISS video albums, with release dates ranging from 1985 to 2007. For the Smashes, Thrashes & Hits album from 1988, Bruce plays lead guitar on Let’s Put The X In Sex and (You Make Me) Rock Hard.

As a current guitarist for the legendary Grand Funk Railroad, the Rock N’ Roll resume of Bruce Kulick is astonishing! Bruce played on three Michael Bolton studio album during the 80’s along with Billy Squier’s album The Tale Of The Tape from 1980. Bruce Kulick (along with his brother Bob) was also a member of the touring band for Meatloaf’s Bat Out Of Hell studio album from 1977. Bruce has recorded with Michael Schenker, Avantasia, Gene Simmons and Graham Bonnet, among a host of others.

Bruce co-founded the Hard Rock supergroup Union, back in 1997, which featured vocalist John Corabi. Union released two studio album before disbanding. Three solo studio albums have been released by Bruce Kulick: Audio Dog (2001), Transformer (2003) and BK3 (2010). Metal be thy name, Bruce Kulick Rocks!
