Van Halen - Tokyo Dome In Concert - promo cover pic - 2015 - #VHMO04

On this day in 2015Van Halen’s new live 2-CD, Tokyo Dome In Concert, debuts on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart at #20. Why was such lame cover art chosen for this release? I just don’t know. You would expect that with the overpriced Van Halen concert tickets that are being sold, this legendary band could afford an artist with clever ideas for an album cover. Apparently not.

At least the EUROPE album cover (above) has imagery and cool photography to it that makes me pause to think.

  1. Municipal Waste sounds like old school Anthrax – dig their sound. Yes, that album art for VH really stinks.
