On This Day In METAL History – November 12th… From JUDAS PRIEST To CRUCIBLE
On November 12th, 1987 – AEROSMITH hit the Billboard Top 40 for the first time in nine years, with their humorous Rocker: Dude (Looks Like A Lady). This song would peak at #14 and is featured on AEROSMITH’s ninth studio album from 1987: Permanent Vacation. Jumping jellyfish!
On November 12th, 2003 – The powerful IRON MAIDEN performed at Valby-Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark.
On November 12th, 2015 – Detroit, Michigan’s CRUCIBLE have their debut EP The Trials ranked at #1, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. The Midwest kicks Metal ass, once again!
On November 12th, 2015 – JUDAS PRIEST have their super-duper and legendary studio album from 1982, Screaming For Vengeance, ranked at #22, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Yes, this is the album that features the great song: You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’.

Jumping jellyfish indeed! I have that Aero-single but if you look carefully the photo appears to be from 1989 — the Pump sessions. I think my CD is a reissue single.

Excellent Metal observation! Yeah, (as you know) many singles get reissued if they appear on a soundtrack or comp album… wonder if that was the case here?
You ROCK, Mike \m/\m/

I do not know the reason why, I just know I love Aerosmith 😉

Next to The Doors, Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston, CCR, Grand Funk Railroad and Van Halen, easily a candidate as the greatest “American” Rock/Hard Rock band ever! 🙂 \m/

Too many to choose from aren’t there! Not to mention Kiss!

Of course, KISS! How can I forget!!?? LOL!! Heart too. I don’t put Aerosmith in the “Metal” category… I’ll save the Metallica’s for another conversation! LOL! \m/
