Lot of great memories of shows at the New Haven Coliseum!! Saw many concerts there with my brother, cousin and good friends… The only thing I didn’t like was that spiral parking garage – going up or coming down! But going up the huge escalator was always a blast with everyone yelling and getting pumped up for the show!

    • Yeah, I’ll 100% agree with you, Mike! The inside of that Coliseum was creepy, I’ve always said the ceiling looked evil with all those air ducts, like a backdrop to a science fiction film. I never took the elevator from the parking garage… no way, no how!

      You ROCK, Mike! 🙂 \m/\m/

  2. I saw Ozzy with Metallica at the Philadelphia Spectrum in April 1986. Christ, it’s coming up to the 30th anniversary, boy does time fly! The concert was spectacular but the most memorable event was outside before the concert. It was the first concert I went to where us concert goers were being preached to and condemned to hell by Jesus freaks.
