On This Day In METAL History – May 9th… From METALLICA To NIGHT RANGER
On May 9th, 1987 – EUROPE had their third studio album, The Final Countdown, ranked at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. Damn straight about that!
On May 9th, 1987 – NIGHT RANGER had their fourth studio album, Big Life, ranked at #28 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. How about that? Big Life featured the hit single, The Secret of My Success, a song written for the 1987 film of the same name; a film which starred the very famous Michael J. Fox.
On May 9th, 1992 – DEF LEPPARD had their hit song, Let’s Get Rocked, ranked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Holy huckleberry stew! Let’s Get Rocked is featured on DEF LEPPARD’s fifth studio album from 1992: Adrenalize.
