  1. My knee jerk answer to that question is it’s that Yes isn’t someone like Michael Jackson or Wham, but that’s me. There is no reason why Yes shouldn’t be there, they are a great prog-rock band that has been going for over 35 years. Put them in, I say.

Hey 80’s MetalMan… now I’m gonna have nightmares about Wham one day getting inducted before KISS! Metal be thy name! 😮

  2. Unbelievable. But what’s more unbelievable Stone, unless I’ve missed a recent addition, is that DEEP PURPLE aren’t either!!!!

BURN, CHILD IN TIME, SPEED KING, HIGHWAY STAR, WTF???

Michael Jackson is though. Go figure……….

Right on Kev, I can’t believe Deep Purple isn’t inducted either! I know I bring this topic up often… yet when I realized YES is not there, it’s whoa time!

Here is what makes me shudder: The Moody Blues, Deep Purple, Styx, Cheap Trick, YES, The Doobie Brothers, RUSH and… KISS are NOT in. Yet… ABBA is.

By no means am I personally attacking ABBA… it just makes no Rock and Roll “sense”! 😮

  3. Yeah, but L.L. Cool J. is……….sigh.

Now if the rock n roll hall of fame was located in the town of bedrock then I could see why Abba is inducted!!
    “Abba Dabba Doo”

  6. Ewwww..the Rock and roll hall of fame. I could care less if the bands I like are in it or not. Rock music isn’t a sport so why then a hall of fame? It’s just a tourist attraction to make money, nothing more.

Right on Metal Mark. I don’t know why I torture myself with this silliness… I guess I’m just so amazed at the stupidity of the “powers that be” at the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame that I “need” to vent my frustration from time to time! \m/

Sorry about that Stone. Maybe they should have a metal Hall of Fame so we won’t have to worry about good metal acts being left out.
