HEMOPTYSIS – Nominated Twice For 11th Annual Independent Music Awards
HEMOPTYSIS – Arizona Thrashers HEMOPTYSIS have been nominated for this year’s Independent Music Awards. This marks the band’s second consecutive year being nominated and this year HEMOPTYSIS holds the honor of receiving two nominations in two categories.
The band’s critically acclaimed album, Misanthropic Slaughter is up for Best Metal/Hardcore Album and the track “M.O.D.” (the video for which can be seen at this location) is up for Best Metal/Hardcore Song. This year’s panel of judges includes Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Waits, members of GWAR, Keith Richards and many more.
In addition to the industry-selected winners, fans have until Friday, July 20th to vote for the fan-selected winners at this location. In additional HEMOPTYSIS news, guitarist/vocalist Masaki Murashita is set to appear on KGRG 89.9 FM’s Late Night Death radio show on Tuesday, March 13 at 10PM PST.
Masaki will be on the air discussing the band’s most recent release, Misanthropic Slaughter, what 2012 has in store for HEMOPTYSIS and much more. KGRG 89.9 FM broadcasts out of Green River Community College in the Seattle, WA metropolitan area. The interview will also be streaming at http://www.kgrg.com.
