BLOODSTOCK has announced the addition of four more awesome Metal bands to the main stage bill for 2014, including CHILDREN OF BODOM!
Finland’s CHILDREN OF BODOM are set to play their only UK show of 2014 on BLOODSTOCK’s Ronnie James Dio main stage. The band released their eighth studio album ‘Halo of Blood’ in June, when Metal Hammer magazine declared, “not only have CHILDREN OF BODOM produced a diverse collection of defiantly brilliant metallic tunes, but also their most accomplished achievement to date”. And if you’re looking for something extra special, the band have also recently made available a limited run of white or silver ‘Halo of Blood’ vinyl. I don’t suppose there’s any chance of you flying to the UK to view this tremendous event. Funny thing is that I’m making the commitment to get back over to the US for a visit next summer so I don’t think I’ll be going.

No, I just don’t have the funds to fly over to the UK; flight, hotel, meals and festival costs are more than I can afford right now 😦
Someday though… when I’m rich and famous, I’ll be jet setting over the planet to ALL the Metal Festivals!! 🙂
Very cool you are coming back to the States for a visit! Too bad I moved from Allentown, PA to Ohio… we most likely could have strategically planned to get together for some brews, chat and laughs, Metal buddy. Regardless, life is funny and is always changing… so you just never know… \m/\m/

I guess New Jersey and Ohio are a bit too far away from each other. I know about the money situation, I have been trying to get over to the States for the past few years but air fares in the summer are ridiculous.
If you ever did come to the UK for Bloodstock or even Download, I would have you stay locally and provide transport. As you say, you never know :@)
