Dear Friends,

There is no way to explain the loss of my brother “Jamo.” Over the years we developed a deep friendship. My heart is heavy with sadness as I struggle to express the pain, suffering and deep loss. Though I rest assured that Jim is in the best of places, it still provides little comfort for those of us left behind. His voice was magic and he had a loving heart. I called him “Golden Throat” and for good reason. Jim Jamison had a voice we will never forget. It was massive and huge and yet sweet and gentle. He was a loving soul and a brother to me in many ways. I will miss him greatly.

Peace,
FS

  1. Sad news – probably wouldn’t have known about it either if you hadn’t posted it. Thanks for keeping me informed.

    • Thanks… and man, what a rich and Arena-made voice Jimi Jamison had. I’ve always enjoyed those Survivor songs from the 80’s. Jimi Jamison released a very, very good solo album back in 2012 titled: “Never Too Late” via Frontiers Records. It’s worth putting on your want list 🙂
