On December 15th, 1973 – Aerosmith made their first appearance on American Bandstand. Aerosmith performed their hit power ballad Dream On.
On this day in 1978 – Heart hits #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles Chart with their song: Straight On. This hit is featured on Heart’s fourth studio album from 1978: Dog & Butterfly.
On December 15th, 1979 – The Who performed a concert at the New Haven Coliseum, in New Haven, Connecticut.
On this day in 1993 – The biographical/war and dramatic film Schindler’s List was released to wide-screen theaters in the United States, via Universal Pictures. Schindler’s List was directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg. This film stars Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley.
Schindler’s List was the recipient of seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score. Altogether, there were twelve Academy Award nominations for Schindler’s List.

On December 15th, 1946, Carmine Appice was born in New York. Happy Rockin’ birthday, Carmine! Yeah, man! Carmine Appice is a world-class drummer and music educator, with a legendary Rock and Hard Rock resume that is realistically unparalleled and impressively extensive.

Right? And the shame of it all is… Carmine Appice is NOT in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame! AAHHHH!!

Agreed! The list goes on for Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Ted Nugent, Journey, Doobie Brothers and even The Moody Blues are not in the Hall Of Fame. Unreal. Ugh.
