On August 1st, 2011 – The amazing IRON MAIDEN performed at Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales. This was a concert on The Final Frontier World Tour. Hail Maiden!
On August 1st, 2015 – Canada’s KATAKLYSM have their new studio album, Of Ghosts And Gods, ranked at #5, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Freaking yeah!
On August 1st, 2015 – The forthcoming studio album, I Worship Chaos, from Finland’s CHILDREN OF BODOM is ranked at #17, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. This new COB album will release on October 2nd, 2015, via Nuclear Blast Records. Hell and yes!
On August 1st, 2015 – The forthcoming studio album, Battering Ram, from NWOBHM warriors SAXON is ranked at #93, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. Whoa!
JOE ELLIOT
Born on August 1st, 1959 in the UK was Joe Elliot. Happy Rockin’ Birthday, Joe Elliot! Whoa, man! Unless you’ve been living in a cave your entire life, Joe Elliot is the lead singer and co-songwriter of the legendary DEF LEPPARD. Joe Elliot also leads his band, Down ‘n’ Outz, a cover band of the great Mott The Hoople. Joe Elliot is also currently a member of the amazing All-Star band: Kings Of Chaos. Long live Joe Elliot!
