On This Day In METAL History – September 9th… From LED ZEPPELIN To FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH
On September 9th, 1970 – The iconic LED ZEPPELIN performed at the Boston Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The lowest priced ticket was $4.50. Holy massive shit, that was a great price for a LED ZEPPELIN concert ticket!!
On September 9th, 1971 – The great LED ZEPPELIN performed to an estimated 8,000 fans, at Hampton Roads Coliseum in Hampton, Virgina, USA. This concert was sponsored by WNOR Radio.
On September 9th, 1978 – The fabulous FOREIGNER had their incredible hit single, Hot Blooded, ranked at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Whoa, man! Hot Blooded is featured on FOREIGNER’s excellent second studio album from 1978: Double Vision.
On September 9th, 2015 – The newly released FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH studio album, Got Your Six, is ranked at #2, on the iTunes Top 100 Albums Chart. This album is the sixth from FFDP. If you’re not into FFDP by now, then please go visit a chat room for big dummies.
On September 9th, 2015 – IRON MAIDEN‘s Live After Death is sitting at #43, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. This superb live album was released back in 1985. Metal Be Thy Name!

That new FFDP album is amazing. I hate to admit it, but it grabbed me more on the first listen than the new Maiden album.
