My Biggest Pet Peeves About Bands… Here We Go!

Here’s a list of some of my pet peeves about bands; regardless if they’re big or obscure:

Bands want bloggers to promote them; yet bands won’t promote the bloggers.

Bands that COMPLAIN CONSTANTLY about not making money from touring.

Bands that ask INSANE PRICES for their merch.

Bands that COMPLAIN CONSTANTLY about Spotify.

Bands that ignore their fans on social media.

It’s ALL TRUTH. Way too many bands “think” they’re groundbreaking and all they are is carbon copies of what’s been done before.

My message to bands and solo artists: If it wasn’t for the fans, you wouldn’t have a band. Period.

  1. Excellent points all! There are exceptions, on account of my plugging of Black Emerald, they invited me as a special guest to their album launch party. Artists should follow their example.

  2. Very nice that happened for you! That band cares!

Yes, there are exceptions yet they are so very few and far between. It’s sad that the only guy that hard rock and metal bands care about is Eddie Trunk. I forgot to mention that in my post.
