Which day are you going? I’d choose the Sunday line-up with KISS and Motorhead.

Gee Metal whiz… I’m not going to this fabulous festival of Heavy Metal. 😦
I already have “the schedule” planned out for that weekend. I’ll have to stick to the small club shows in the meantime… which aren’t too shabby! 🙂
Oh, yes… the Sunday show I would choose too. KISS and Motörhead just RULE! Plus, Opeth is already legendary. DevilDriver are “IT” for my Metal mind too. The Sword is an amazing Stoner Metal band. Anthrax? Well, um, a “new” studio album would be nice eventually from them… yet they are Thrash Legends that I would want to see any day of the year including Christmas.

This looks like a fantastic line up, but there seems to be an absence on Canadian metal bands (probably wrong on that one). I followed your advice and wrote about Triumph on my 80smetalman blog. Anyway, I would love to win the lottery so I could travel to this, especially as people on the Bloodstock site say that The Disturbed are too mainstream for the festival.

Disturbed are simply put, unique. I’ve always liked Disturbed a great deal. Yes, they have been “accepted” across the mainstream and that just makes me realize there is still hope in the “commercial and plastic world”!
I’ll agree though… Disturbed would be considered too “mainstream” for Bloodstock. What’s funny about it though, is that Disturbed would probably fit right in just fine there with the bands and fans too.
Gee, thanks for adding Triumph to your great article. Billy Talent (once known as Pezz) are from Ontario, Canada. 🙂

Last years show was epic.
Completely awesome.
I imagine as we get closer to the dates, more acts will come up.
Keeping my eye on the horizon, to see who’s going to come!
Can’t wait.
Simply can’t wait.
