On This Day In BLACK SABBATH History – June 22nd

On June 22, 1978 – Black Sabbath performs/lip syncs their hit Never Say Die on the BBC show: Top of the Pops.

On June 22, 1992 – Black Sabbath released their 16th studio album: Dehumanizer. This Black Sabbath lineup was: Ronnie James Dio (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), Vinny Appice (drums) and Geoff Nicholls (keyboards). This was the third and last Black Sabbath studio album to feature Ronnie James Dio as vocalist.

On June 22, 2014 – Black Sabbath perform at Val de Moine in Clisson, France for the Hellfest. Black Sabbath were touring in support of their studio album: 13.
