The new album from Sweden’s melodic death trio AGAINST I is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Songs for the Dying picks up where Destruction Lullaby – released in May 2024 – left off. The album offers lethal doses of aggressive and melodic death tinged with shades of industrial and atmospheric metal.

AGAINST I was founded in 2022 by Fredrik Keith Croona, known as vocalist and founder of Cynical Existence and ex-vocalist of Menschdefekt. Together with Mathias Back (guitars) and Anders Ström (drums), they fuse elements of metal and hints of electronic parts into a cacophony of aggression and melodies.

In 2023 the band released their debut album Carnival of Excess on Advoxya Records. 2024 saw the release of two EPs, Perfect Smile and the follow-up Destruction Lullaby, which took the band in an entirely new direction.
