BENEDICTION “The Grotesque” / “Ashen Epitaph” [Picture Disc 7″ Single] – My New Purchase! Check It Out!


I bought this BENEDICTION The Grotesque / Ashen Epitaph [Picture Disc 7″ Single] this past week for $8.58 (including tax). Not a shabby price at all! I love the artwork on both sides.

I’ll admit, I did find this wonderful slab of vinyl goodness on Amazon at 2 in the morning. However, nine out of ten of my physical music purchases are from 2 of my local indie record stores: Omega Music and Catacomb Records.

Gotta dig that “Beer For All” tee the dude is wearing in the above artwork! I want that tee.

This 7” picture disc was released on February 21, 2025, via Metal Bastard Enterprises, under license from Nuclear Blast GMBH. It’s a limited edition and I have no info on the print run. These 2 songs were originally released on the five song The Grotesque / Ashen Epitaph EP from 1994 on Nuclear Blast Records.

    Is this the Benediction from Birmingham, UK? If so, I saw them at Bloodstock in 2010 and was quite impressed.
