UNMERCIFUL – Forced to Withdraw from Liberation Through Punishment Tour

Death metal horde UNMERCIFUL has announced they are dropping off their upcoming tour with VITRIOL and WEEPING. The band issued the following statement on leaving the Liberation Through Punishment Tour:
“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel our tour with Vitriol and Weeping that we were so looking forward to being a part of. With such short notice, we were not able to find a drummer to fill in for the tour. We apologize to Vitriol, Weeping, the promoters and most of all to our fans. We will be back out on the road to support Devouring Darknessas soon as we possibly can. Make sure and DO NOT miss this tour! Vitriol and Weeping will crush the stage at every show!”
UNMERCIFUL is still confirmed for the 2026 Maryland Deathfest.
The band’s newest album, Devouring Darkness, marks a new era of relentless violence and sonic brutality! With ten tracks of scorching intensity and distorted vengeance, the album is filled with blistering blast beats, intricate kick drum patterns, and destructive riffing.
Devouring Darkness is out now on CD, digital, and vinyl formats on Willowtip Records.
