The Altar Of Scultped Skulls, which offers up four new tracks and two re-recorded tunes was produced by guitarist J. Bastard, with the entire effort recorded, mixed and mastered at Moontower Studios. In addition, the disc features the ultra detailed and wholly grim horror art from famed illustrator Matt Carr of Putrid Gore Art (Autopsy, Impetigo, Hooded Menace).

  1. They sound interesting. Not surprised to read about a death metal band from Spain. When I was in Spain back in 1989, they all seemed to be into Slayer.

  2. Hay mucha metal de Espana. Necesitas escuchar Tierra Santa!

  3. The band is called “Tierra Santa”. If you don’t mind their singing in Spanish, they have some really great songs.

I guess my Spanish is, um, rusty! Now I’m slightly embarrassed. 😮

Thanks for sharing the video… Tierra Santa is rather cool… melodic, with a Power Metal appeal/sound. The lead vocalist reminds me of Andi Deris of Helloween with his vocal tones. Their guitarist shreds. The girls in the crowd really like ’em! I dig ’em… and I’ll seek their music out. I’ll just have to learn up on my Spanish more! 😉

      • Very impressed with the video. Shows that metal can unite the world. (Maybe that’s what the powers that be are afraid of)

Right 80s Metal Man? It’s just like the ultra-legendary Judas Priest has put so Metal “eloquently”:

“We Are Defenders Of The Faith”

Metal is Stateside and Worldwide and nuthin’ is ever gonna stop it! \m/ 😉
