Horror flicks do have some cool soundtracks. My personal favourite is the soundtrack to “Shocker.” Songs by Bonfire, Saraya, Megadeth’s version of No More Mr Nice Guy and a rap by Alice cooper and Horace Pinker

I can understand your favorite Horror soundtrack being “Shocker”. There are some great bands and songs on that one! I never owned the soundtrack to “Shocker” though. (!) However, I still have the cassette single of “No More Mr. Nice Guy” by Megadeth.
With this Megadeth song, I’d have to add (from “Nightmare On Elm Street 3”) “Dream Warriors” by Dokken as my two favorite songs from a Horror movie soundtrack. \m/

Shocker. Now that was one killer soundtrack. Loved the movie too!
You gotta love horror soundtracks. They (usually) always have some sort of hard thrashin’ metal on them. Which is always a WIN in my book!

I can remember going to the theater to see “Shocker”… the villain only became more evil once he was fried in the electric chair! “Scream 4” may not “scream” Metal music… yet the album covers and The Sounds are very cool, IMO. It’s a diverse soundtrack and I can dig that. 🙂
With that said… it would have been very cool if Cradle Of Filth, Slayer, Megadeth and Dimmu Borgir (to name a few) had songs on it!

I haven’t heard this OST but I have the Shocker OST too.
Last Action Hero is a good one too.

Thanks for the new link to your soundtrack post… these soundtracks sometimes get forgotten.

I remember Shocker as being a shitty movie with a decent soundtrack. I liked the No more Mr. Nice guy cover and the Dangerous Toys song a lot.
I liked Last action hero the movie and the soundtrack. Trick or treat was a good movie with a fine track. Okay, it was all Fastway, but still good.

I upgraded “Last Action Hero” to cd a few months ago… for 97 cents! (Found it at a thrift store). I found the vinyl for “Trick Or Treat” a couple of years ago… for 50 cents! It’s in beautiful shape, both the jacket and vinyl. (Another thrift store find). 🙂
I’ve always liked Fastway a ton, with their debut album being the very best album from them. I’m banking you agree with me on that? I wrote about it a couple of years ago:

You got your Last Action Hero for 3 cents less than I got mine.
