The world will NOT end in 2012. Sorry. If I’m wrong and the dreaded doomsday does come to pass this year, I will hopefully be with my family while any ORANGE GOBLIN album is blasting LOUD around me.
2012 IS GONNA ROCK! WHY?
Cause… Ozzy, Tony, Geezer and Bill are… BACK!
Cause… KISS is releasing a new studio album titled: MONSTER.
Cause… KING DIAMOND is better and… back in action! Just ask Metallica.
Cause… VAN HALEN IS BACK!
BOLD SPORTS PREDICTION:
The New York Yankees will win the 2012 World Series.
STONE’S 2012 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS:
There are so many that are too boring to list. Okay, here’s two:
I shall eat less potato chips and listen to MORE METAL \m/
STONE’S WISHES FOR 2012:
I wish for an end to world hunger and human suffering of any kind. May there be world peace? On a smaller scale, I wish that Motörhead would receive a deserved “Lifetime Achievement Award” from The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
I wish CHEAP TRICK would follow Metal Odyssey on twitter. If this happens, I will write, without hesitation, a positive article on ABBA and feature it right here on Metal Odyssey for the world to read and see. I’m honestly not kidding. CHEAP TRICK F’n RULES.

Well, I can link Abba and Van Halen
Janne Schaffer, Swedish jazz-rock guitarist, played the lead on stuff like ‘Mamma Mia’ etc, made a solo album called ‘Earmeal’ that featured all the Porcaro Brothers AND their dad, Joe. The bro’s played in Toto, as did Steve Lukather, who had Eddie Van Halen on his first solo album. Oh yeah. 🙂

Man, I would love to visit Japan in 2012! Money and schedule have to “jive” first. 😦
We spent a “small fortune” on our first Disney trip to Florida last Summer… even though we found “good deals” for this trip all-around, the $$ added up. 😮
However, have no fear… Japan, Germany and Greece are practically tied for my “NEED TO VISIT” list! Japan might have the “deal maker” due to that KISS store in Tokyo you have written about! Plus we can hang out and have a beer or 2. 🙂

As I’ve always stated in the past: “The Boston Red Sox are the greatest AAA baseball team in Major League Baseball”.
As for the potato chips… forget about it! I consumed half of a “family size” bag yesterday and paid for it with much deserved guilt. (!)
