A new occult/doom rock act, Drowned in Silver, has unveiled “Waves of Sorrow“, the first single and video from their debut album Mothers. The full-length record is set to be released on 7 November 2025 via Pagan Records in CD, LP and digital formats.

“Waves of Sorrow” is a powerful testament to the band’s signature sound, blending the dark atmospheres of occult and doom rock with a distinct gothic touch. The music video, created in collaboration with the artists from Zaćma Visual Studio and the Kraków-based dance group Morphos, visually captures the song’s intensity and mood.

Drowned in Silver is a new project formed by seasoned musicians from the black metal and experimental music scenes. Their music finds a unique balance between occult rock and trance-like expression, drawing inspiration from the spiritual intensity of artists like The Devil’s Blood, Dead Can Dance and Wardruna.
