KORN – “KORN III REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE” ALBUM COVER ART AND TRACK LISTING REVEALED!
KORN – RoadRunner Records revealed on Friday, May 14, 2010, via their website, the new album artwork for KORN III Remember Who You Are, along with the track listing. KORN III Remember Who You Are will be the ninth studio release from this legendary Nu Metal/Alternative Metal giant. Call it what you will… KORN is still heavy and the Heavy Metal world only gets more muscle bound by their return… in my Metal opinion. Check out the track listing for KORN III Remember Who You Are below! Also, the new album cover is really chilling… whoa. Leave it to KORN to get into the issues of our society once again! What do you think of this album cover? I’ll tell you right now… it creeps the hell out of me. This album cover speaks volumes for what currently is a societal evil that exists and lurks today, an evil that the world can live without. What else can I say, really, that’s my honest Metal opinion. Leave a comment and get it off your Metal chest!

The cover of their debut album had a similar “theme”.
I can’t even think of how to describe my hatred for anyone who could hurt children.
Regarding KoRn though, I have their “Greatest Hits” album. I like a number of their songs…but I think the “hits” album is all I need.

You are correct on the same “theme” being used on both the debut Korn album cover and this Korn III album cover. The small girl on the swing, with the looming shadow of presumably… a “bad” man (monster) looking over her. That cover has the same chilling affect on me as well.
Korn brings out the topics/psychological themes to album covers that are not “normally” brought to light… IMO. I’ve picked up “most of” the Korn releases from thrift stores over the years… I always seem to find Korn at these places! For $1 apiece, you can’t go wrong.
Thanks for the comment.

I am not huge Korn fan but like you I have gotten a number of their albums cheap, and I always enjoy them, not in my top 20 bands of all time, but IMO a very important band who unfairly gets blamed for the ‘nu-metal movement of the early 90’s.
At the moment I have the first 5 albums and I am sure I will end up with their whole discography due how easily and cheap their discography is at the moment.

I agree with your calling KORN an “important” band. Heck, when Heavy Music was “supposed” to be on the downward spiral, KORN was huge. Plus, this band took many Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Bands on the road with them over the years that were “not” Nu Metal too.
If KORN and their brand of Heavy Music was so alienating to so many, it surely did not affect their success then or now… IMO.
Thanks for the fair/non-biased comment! 🙂

I think alot of metal fans my age ( I am 40) dismissed bands such as KORN, Slipknot and Disturbed for whatever reason, and unfairly blamed them for the downfall of glam/hair metal and thrash metal bands when in reality neither those bands and nor the so called grunge bands had nothing to do with the reasons that had happened.
Personally I am fan of the bands I have mentioned and a fan of Motley Crue, Metallica, and Nirvana, IMO what is so interesting about the genre of metal is not only its long history but how diverse it is.
