Hammerdrone is a Melodic, Blackened Death Metal band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Formed in October 2010, Hammerdrone features Graham Harris, ex-Reverend Kill (Apollon Records), ex-Genepool, ex-Rötschreck (Tenderloin Records) on vocals; Vinnie Cardellini, ex-Reverend Kill, on drums; Rick Cardellini on lead guitar; Curtis Beardy on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Steve Greenough, ex-Terra Cotta, on bass.
Canadian Metal is represented with potent muscle from HAMMERDRONE and their Blackened EP: Demon Rising. Crunchy, melodic and searing guitars (Rick Cardellini, Curtis Beardy) to melt your eardrums into Metal ecstasy; all the while the vocals of Graham Harris will blanket your surroundings into a melancholy zone of Blackened welcoming acceptance.
Powerful drumming from Vinnie Cardellini provides the quaking and skull splitting ambience, with Steve Greenough administering hellish beats that shall kick the living shit out of your senses. Fabulous songs are all four; with a perfect combination of melodic and extreme to satiate a wide audience of Metal fans.
