BARONESS – The second behind-the-scenes clip from Baroness’s recording of Yellow & Green, available now via Paste (http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/av/2012/06/video-premiere-baroness—yellow-green.html) and on Baroness’s website (www.baronessmusic.com), shares personal insights from the band on the expanded musical palette present on the highly anticipated album.

“We knew change was coming,” singer/guitarist John Baizley says at the clip opens, with the band addressing the freedom they felt during the recording of the double-disc album. The six-minute video focuses on the recording of “March to the Sea,” which was recently released as an iTunes single (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/march-to-the-sea-single/id533819524).  A stream of the song is available here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxNYPOaPhE&list=UUyLHwuG01TYfbeFdzNZGI0w&index=1&feature=plcp.

THE GARDNERZ – Reveal Track List and Artwork For Upcoming EP “It All Fades”

Posted in doom metal, Heavy Metal, heavy metal albums, metal music, Music, rock music, rock music news with tags , , , , , on June 24, 2012 by Metal Odyssey

Swedish Doomsters The Gardnerz have unveiled the track list and artwork, which comes courtesy of Daniel “Devilish” Johnsson, for their recently completed EP, entitled It All Fades.  Guitarist Wilhelm Lindh comments on the EP, which is a follow-up to the band’s debut, The System of Nature. “This time around the songs are a bit slower and darker than on The System Of Nature, we tried to continue on the path we have chosen. We have found our niche and have no reason to stray, so if you liked our first release you will like this. This time it was a bit more of a group effort and I think that made the songs stronger.”

IT ALL FADES – Track Listing:

Don’t Look Back

A Horrible Disease

Transilvanian Hunger (Darkthrone Cover)

It All Fades

Melatonin

Erasing Bad Specimen
