ERIC MARTIN – Legendary singer Eric Martin of the also legendary, chart-topping and Melodic Hard Rockers, MR. BIG, will be embarking on an acoustic tour of Europe this November. As reported on MR. BIG’s facebook:

November 2 at the Woodstock (Como, Italy)

November 3 at the Il Peocio (Trofarello, Italy)

November 13 at the Outbaix (Ubach Palenberg, Germany)

November 15 at the Hamtorkrug (Neuss, Germany)

November 17 at the Bluesiana (Velden, Austria)

ORCHID – Signs With Nuclear Blast

Nuclear Blast is extremely proud to announce the worldwide signing of San Francisco based doom rockers ORCHID!

Commented the band: “After many months of talking to different labels about our future, we’re very excited to announce that we’ve decided to join forces with Nuclear Blast. We’ve been working on new material on and off for the last year and we’re feeling really good about the new songs. It seems like they’re a continuation in the same tradition of the material on our first full length, Capricorn, but also, show some new sides of our music that should surprise everyone and show that ORCHID isn’t a band that just wants to keep making the same album over and over. We’re really excited for everyone to hear it!”

Since their inception back in 2006, the band featuring well-known tattoo artist Theo Mindell (http://www.spidermurphys.com ) on vocals has achieved massive global awareness with their stunning debut releases Through The Devil’s Doorway (EP, 2009) and Capricorn (Full-length, 2011).
