On this day in 2009 – The comedy film, Fired Up! was released to wide-screen theaters, via Screen Gems. This movie’s plot centers around two high school football players that are popular; they are portrayed by Eric Christian Olsen and Nicholas D’Agosto. These two dudes attend a Summer cheerleading camp. Why? They both want to get close to the 300 female cheerleaders that are there. Whoa! That’s Metal! No, I never saw this movie. Honestly.
On February 20th, 2015 – LA’s Heavy Rockers Diamond Lane performs at RockBar Theater in San Jose, California. Diamond Lane is promoting their new studio album, from 2014: Terrorizer. By the way, that kick-ass album artwork above was created by Casey Howard. Long live Diamond Lane!
On this day in 2015 – The spectacular AC/DC has climbed back up 11 spots on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart to #43, with their new studio album: Rock Or Bust. Last week’s position for this album was #54. Rock Or Bust debuted at #3 and has spent 11 consecutive weeks on this chart. AC/DC is still kicking ass! Whoa!
On February 20th, 2015 – The eight studio album from Nickelback, No Fixed Address, has climbed back up 20 spots on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and sits at #98. Last week’s chart position for this album was #118. No Fixed Address debuted at #4 and has spent 13 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Top 200. Whoa!
