Seattle, WA thrashers FALLEN ANGELS return in 2015 with their third studio release ‘World In Decay’ produced by Grammy award-winning metal producer/engineer Michael Rosen (Forbidden, Testament, Death Angel, Flotsam and Jetsam, Tesla, Vicious Rumors). The album is set to be released on August 4, 2015 via their indie label Cyberdyne Records to follow 2010’s ‘Engines of Oppression’ and their 2008 debut ‘Rise From Ashes’ – released on Metal On Metal Records. The band also plans to tour extensively this summer, bringing their explosive live show full of thrash and shred, which they are known for as a local favorite in the Pacific Northwest.

“We want to thank everyone who has supported us, and we hope you’re as excited as we are about the release of our upcoming album “World in Decay”. We know you’ve been waiting a long time for this third release and we can’t wait for you to hear it. We hope this album will quench your thirst for new Fallen Angels music. See you on the road thrash fans!” comments drummer Steve Spitzbart.

About:

Capturing the classic thrash sound of the Big Four in their prime; early Metallica, Testament, Slayer, and Megadeth as well as other known cult heroes Exodus, Annihilator, Forbidden and Havok. FALLEN ANGELS is influenced by a wide range of 80’s thrash as well as classic metal from the 70’s and 80’s. The band combines these elements in a fresh, modern sounding album with the explosive riffs and solos that one might have expected to hear on the radio around 1989. FALLEN ANGELS is a band that thrash fans and more classic metal oriented fans can agree on because the music is catchy but also very aggressive.

American Metal icons, SUPERJOINT, will embark on their first tour in over a decade! Presented by frontman Philip H. Anselmo’s own Housecore Records, The It Takes Guts Summer takeover will commence on July 10th in Oklahoma City and ravage its way through thirteen US cities with additional dates to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Support will be provided by punk metal/noise rock misfits, Child Bite, and Australian grind miscreants, King Parrot, both members of the Housecore Records family.

Now featuring Anselmo (Down, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Pantera et al), guitarists Kevin Bond (Christ Inversion, Artimus Pyledriver et al) and Jimmy Bower (Down, Eyehategod), drummer José Manuel Gonzalez (Warbeast, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals) and bassist Stephen Taylor (Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Woven Hand, 16 Horse Power), the long-anticipated trek follows SUPERJOINT‘s crushing performance closing out the second stage of last year’s edition of the Housecore Horror Film Fest.

Comments Anselmo: “We’re touring with SUPERJOINT again, because we feel like it, it’s fun, and we’re handsome. And the big plus here is getting to tour with King Parrot and Child Bite, as they are handsome fellows also as well as live forces to be reckoned with. Leave your corpse paint at home. No image required for this one. Bring a date and some sips, and let the music do the rest! Hail Columbia!”

KING PARROT released their eagerly anticipated Dead Set full-length last month via Housecore Records. Captured by Anselmo and Michael Thompson with Steve Berrigan at the famed Nodferatu’s Lair, KING PARROT‘s Dead Set brandishes ten grind-laden, punk-infused odes of defiant audio savagery bedecked in the dark, cynical humor for which the band has become notorious. A true leap forward from their Bite Your Head Off debut, Dead Set parades a distinct maturity from a band who’s committed to the rigors of international touring, slaying audiences through Asia, North America, Europe and Australia on a steady basis.

Crowned “the soundtrack to the greatest psychotic slasher film that never was,” by American Aftermath, CHILD BITE released their Strange Waste EP, a deliciously bastardized hybrid of the Melvins, Dead Kennedys, Big Black and Faith No More, last Fall via Housecore. The band recently took a brief pause from their current US live excursion to record their forthcoming new full-length with Philip H. Anselmo at his famed Nodferatu’s Lair. Titled Negative Noise, the LP will be released later this year via Housecore.

SUPERJOINT consists of founding members Anselmo, Bower and Bond, with the addition of Joey “Blue” Gonzalez and Steve Taylor. The band churns out a debaucherous crossover of hardcore punk and metal a la Pantera and unleashed two critically lauded full-lengths; 2002’s Use Once And Destroy and 2003’s Lethal Dose Of American Hatred, before taking hiatus in 2005.

Sweet - Off The Record - promo album cover pic - 1977 - #77SMO151

On June 4th, 1977 – The legendary Sweet hits #151 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart, in the United States, with their fifth studio album: Off the Record. Man, that is some fine album artwork! Plus, album covers weren’t created with the help of computer design programs back then either; that is all done by hand with the use of an air brush! Old school! Long live the legacy of SWEET!

Scorpions - Savage Amusement - promo album cover pic - 1988 - #060488SKMMOS

On June 4th, 1988 – The mighty SCORPIONS had their tenth studio album, Savage Amusement, ranked at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. This would be the last top ten album for the SCORPIONS. I love this SCORPIONS album!

My favorite songs on Savage Amusement are: Don’t Stop At The Top and Rhythm Of Love. It doesn’t matter if the SCORPIONS no longer hit the top ten in album sales; this incredible band still kicks absolute and ultra potent Metal ass to this very day! Metal Be Thy Name!

Pauly Shore - Totally Pauly - MTV show promo pic - 1990 - #060490

On June 4th, 1990MTV debuts Totally Pauly, a comedy video show starring comedian Pauly Shore. Holy moly!

Nekrogoblikon - Heavy Meta - promo album cover pic - 2015

On June 4th, 2015 – The new studio album from Nekrogoblikon, Heavy Meta, is ranked at #16, on the iTunes Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums Chart. I highly recommend this album; this is Goblin Metal that I cannot get enough of! Whoa and hell yes!

KISS - promo band pic - 2015 - #060415GSMOS

On June 4th, 2015 – The iconic KISS are to perform at Arena Leipzig, in Leipzig, Germany. Whoa, man! Lucky Leipzig.
