DECEMBER 3, 2012, BOSTON, MA: Boston Power Thrashers SONIC PULSE have signed with Horror Pain Gore Death Productions who will be releasing their debut album Lager Than Life on 12” Black vinyl on December 18th.

Boston Power Thrash “supergroup” SONIC PULSE feature both past and present members of bands such as Razormaze, Skull Hammer, Vindicator, Ravage, Seax and Jaded. Their fusion of Thrash with epic Power Metal is described as “a cross between the beer-fuelled Thrash Metal of TANKARD and the finger burning speedy Power Metal of DRAGONFORCE” (MyGlobalMind.Com). SONIC PULSE – From the depths of a dingy basement to gearing up for the release of their debut album, ‘Lager than Life’, and hitting the road across the US, Boston’s Sonic Pulse have come a long way in two short years.

Touring with Lich King, the beer-fueled, power Thrashing super group featuring members of Razormaze, Skull Hammer, Ravage andVindicator will be kicking it all off in New Jersey on July 21, bringing their carefully crafted fusion of power metal and thrash to the metal-hungry, beer-loving masses.

BIO:

In the depths of a dingy basement littered with instruments, recording equipment and empty beer cans, Dan Hammer (known for his antics in Skull Hammer) and David Carlino (heir to the Razormaze fortune) decided it was time to spawn a new project – Sonic Pulse.

The dynamic duo set out to rid the world of people who take themselves too seriously and don’t know what it means to party, working meticulously to perfect their craft, diligently recording songs over and over again, writing, drinking, playing video games and chinning people.

On the fast track to achieving their goal, Sonic Pulse will release their debut album, Lager than Life, in the fall, finally unveiling the carefully crafted fusion of power metal and thrash they’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Fraught with peril and uncertainty, the story of Lager than Life unfolds, leading you on a quest to, what else, get beer.

Sonic Pulse can only be summed up one way — good music for bad people.
