On November 8th, 1986 – Boston hits #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with their hit power ballad Amanda. This song is featured on Boston’s multi-million selling and third studio album: Third Stage.
On this day in 1986 – Triumph hits #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 with their hit Somebody’s Out There. This song is featured on the eighth studio album from Triumph, The Sport Of Kings, released in 1986.
On November 8th, 1989 – The mighty Iron Maiden released their live video (VHS) Maiden England. This classic live video of Iron Maiden was recorded in 1988, during their Seventh Tour Of A Seventh Tour. Of course, that historic tour had Iron Maiden promoting their Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son studio album.
On this day in 2008 – AC/DC reached #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart for the first time in 27 years with Black Ice. This album began a two-week stay at number one. The cover art/design for Black Ice was created and drawn by Joshua Marc Levy.
