On this day in 1991 – Queen’s iconic singer Freddie Mercury passed away of complications from AIDS. It was only one day after publicly admitting he was HIV positive. Freddie Mercury was only 45 years old. Pictured above is the 1985 Freddie Mercury solo album: Mr. Bad Guy.
On November 24th, 1991 – KISS drummer Eric Carr passed away of complications from cancer at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Eric Carr was only 41 years old. Rest in peace, Eric Carr. Pictured above: Eric Carr Unfinished Business album cover, released back in November of 2011.
On this day in 1993 – The Family/Comedy film, Mrs. Doubtfire, was released to wide-screen theaters. This film stars the late and great Robin Williams, as the hilarious Mrs. Doubtfire character. Sally Field, Pierce Brosnan and Harvey Fierstein are the other fantastic actors in this film. Mrs. Doubtfire is… Metal. Rest in peace, Robin Williams.
