For over thirty years, Long Island, New York’s undisputed kings of slam, INTERNAL BLEEDING, have been stabbed in the back, suffered through terrible tragedies, and experienced frustrating setbacks, yet, they have not let these challenges define them. The pent-up anger, frustration, and feelings of betrayal of the past three decades have been crystalized and synthesized into their seventh album, Settle All Scores

INTERNAL BLEEDING bulldozes everything in its path on these eight new tracks which are focused on those who have done the band wrong. It is a testament to the band’s resilience and strength in adversity. Prepare yourself; Settle All Scores is the most aggressive, slam-filled INTERNAL BLEEDING album to date.

INTERNAL BLEEDING’s Settle All Scores is out now on LP, CD, MC, and digitally through Maggot Stomp HERE.

Produced by INTERNAL BLEEDING, re-amped and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Studio in Sunland, California (Nails, Xibalba, God’s Hate), and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Creeping Death, Vastum), the production on Settle All Scores is simply decimating.

The album is completed with cover art by Mark Richards (Heavy Hand Illustration, Tomb Gallery & Tattoo) and photography by Paul McNeill. Additionally, guest vocals are provided by Sherwood Webber of Skinless, Mikey Petroski of Never Ending Game, and former INTERNAL BLEEDING vocalists Joe Marchese, Jay Lowe, and Frank Rini.

Courtney Hadwin Pays Tribute to the Late Ozzy Osbourne in Live Cover of “Changes”

Posted in female rock vocalists, Hard Rock, Music, music news, news with tags , , on November 20, 2025 by Metal Odyssey

Young Rock Powerhouse Brings New Life to Classic Anthem Amidst Upcoming UK Tour

London, UK – With her unmistakable voice and raw emotional intensity, Courtney Hadwin delivers a stirring tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne with her live cover of “Changes.” Recorded at Decoy Studios, she strips away excess production in favor of honesty and grit. Hadwin breathes new life into the Black Sabbath classic, turning it into an introspective reflection on transformation and growth.

“Changes” Live at Decoy Studios is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Courtney Hadwin’s rendition of “Changes” is both reverent and fierce. Known for her standout vocals and magnetic stage presence, she channels the vulnerability and sincerity that made the original so iconic, while imprinting it with her own soul-driven style. The recording captures the tension between fragility and strength, revealing an artist who continues to evolve beyond her explosive beginnings. “‘Changes’ has always been up there as one of my favourite all-time songs,” says Hadwin. “All I see when I go through my social media comments is ‘cover a Black Sabbath song,’ so I gave it a go on tour a couple months back and I’ve had messages since saying ‘record it,’ so I thought yanno what, why not!”

The track was brought to life by a stellar lineup of musicians, including Orlando Avalon on electric guitar, Gabrielle Ornate on keyboards and backing vocals, Matt Townsend on drums, and Raj Bumia on bass. It was engineered by Robert Sellens, mixed by Orlando Avalon, and mastered by John Webber. Together, they crafted a version that feels both classic and contemporary, a fitting homage to Osbourne’s legacy and a showcase of Hadwin’s artistry.

At just 13 years old, Courtney Hadwin stunned the world with her Janis Joplin–esque audition on America’s Got Talent, a viral moment that introduced millions to her powerhouse voice and bold stage presence. Rather than conforming to the pop expectations that followed, Hadwin forged her own path, channeling her grit, soul, and lived experience into music that speaks directly to her generation.

Now 21, with over 3.7 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, she has grown into a dynamic artist whose sound fuses rock, soul, funk, punk, and R&B. Her debut album Little Miss Jagged, co-written with producer Kevin Bowe (Etta James, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve Van Zandt), captures the highs and lows of coming of age through raw storytelling and unfiltered emotion. Praised by outlets like FAULT MagazinePopDust, and Soundsphere for her distinctive voice and genre-defying style, Hadwin continues to prove she’s far more than a viral sensation; she’s a singular force in modern rock, ready to define her next era on her own terms.

Courtney Hadwin’s cover of “Changes” marks another chapter in her evolution with a balance between her blues-rock roots and a maturing, passionate voice that resonates with authenticity. Since first capturing global attention on America’s Got Talent, she’s grown into one of the most promising young figures in the current rock scene, fearless in exploring new depths while maintaining her trademark fire. In early 2026, she will be embarking on a ten-show tour across the UK, showcasing her new album live.

Courtney Hadwin’s “Changes” Live at Decoy Studios is streaming now on all platforms.

From Healing to Creation: SAEKO is Back With the 2025 Remastered Edition of Her Debut Album, Above Heaven Below Heaven

Earlier this year, acclaimed Japanese metal vocalist and songwriter Saeko took a temporary step back from music to undergo major surgery. Now on a steady path to recovery, she is gradually returning to creative work and preparing to reintroduce her music to fans around the world.

While her long-anticipated mini-album, originally scheduled for release in 2025, has been postponed to early 2026Saeko has released the 2025 Remastered Edition of her debut album Above Heaven Below Heaven, worldwide, on all digital platforms. The album was originally produced by Lars Ratz and Co-produced by Michael Ehré.

Due to the original multitrack recordings being unavailable, the remaster was carefully produced using the original CD source. Thanks to the expertise of V. Santura at Woodshed Studio (Germany), the new edition preserves the emotional core and sonic identity of the original while enhancing its overall balance and clarity.

Rather than a reconstruction or remix, this reissue offers listeners the chance to rediscover the work that launched Saeko’s international journey, a journey that saw her tour with Doro Pesch in 2004 and become the first Asian female artist to perform at Wacken Open Air in 2005.

Often hailed as a milestone for Japanese women in the global metal scene, Saeko’s debut album represents a unique cultural bridge between East and West, between deeply personal songwriting and the grandeur of European melodic power metal.

“It’s been over twenty years since I first recorded these songs,” Saeko shares.
Back then, touring with Doro and standing on the Wacken stage as a Japanese woman felt almost impossible, yet it happened. Now, after all these years, I wanted listeners to reconnect with that starting point before hearing how far these songs have evolved.

Now, two decades later, it stands again as a bridge between the past and the future, leading to the upcoming mini-album that will feature three newly re-recorded tracks from this original work.

SAEKO line-up:
Saeko Kitamae – Vocals
Guido Benedetti – Guitars
Alessandro Sala – Bass
Michael Ehre – Drums
